Chapter 24: Some Blonde Gave Me Nightmares

The next moring was really calm. Pauline wake up and sadness was written all over her face. She didn't why. It was really weird but she couldn't do anything about it. Her feeling changed just in seconds when Jesse texted her. He was missing her too and he've planed a night for them in a restaurant and he asked her to wear something nice.

That make Pauline feel a little nervous. She've never gone alone in a restaurant. And as it seems from Jesse's text this restaurant must be very good and expensive. She singed and put the phone in the night stand. "This must be a looong night Pauline!" she told herself. Looking around she saw the guitar. It's been ages since the last she playied. It was a nice oportunity.

Walking throught the bedroom she took the guitar Richie had gave her from her birthday. She took a guitar pick and sut in the bed. Without knowing what she was doing she let her fingers roll to the strings. Automaticaly she start playing Every Road Leads Home To You.

A hard knock at the door stopped the music. "Oh, Jesus! One time i said to sit there and play the guitar and everyone will come right now?" Pauline said annoying and went to open the door. Hopefully her sister Zeta was there. Zeta walked in the room and sut on the bed. Pauline was looking at her with a death look. "Nice guitar you have here! Can i play?" "No!" Pauline sipmly answered and closed the door behind her. "What do you want?" "Me? Nothing! I just came to see me sister who the last days i didn't see at all!"Zeta said and run some firngers to the guitar strings. "If i ask Richie to teach me guitar you think he'll come?" "Well,..... NO! I think piano suits you more! So, i think you must call Joker and not Richie!" Pauline answered.

Zeta tried to answer but Pauline's phone rung. The two sisters looked in there eyes, this was meaning one thing.... the onw who will go first to the phone will pick it up. On the count of three Pauline and Zeta run to the nightstand. After a 2 secind fight Pauline won and picked it up. "Hey, Ava! What's up?" "First where the hell you were been?" "I was fighting with my sister to pick up the phone!" "Oh, is she alright?" "Yeah, she's fine from now!" "Anyway, tell me something how long it took you to read the story that you metioned yesterday?" "Why are you asking?" "Tell me and i'll tell you.." "I read it in 2 days or so the first part and in 3 days the other two parts and i'm still reading it because it didn't finished! And i don't want to finish!" "Well, someone had already beat you in reading....." Ava said and touched Richie's shoulder who was reading in his laptop. "Who beat me?" "My dad! Since you left yesterday he waa asking for Tori to tell him the title of the story..... this was going on for hours! Finally Tori told him and he found it on the internet and he's in the 50th chapter of 'All That Really Matters'....." Ava explained but there is no responce from the other line. "Pauline are you dead?" Ava yelled. "Yeah, i'm ok! So, now Richie is reading a FF?" "Yeah, right now... please tell me how to stop it!" "Ava, i'm sorry but there's no cure..... he's addicted!" "Oh fuck!" Ava yelled even more. "Exactly!" Pauline answered and laughed. "Oh, i've an idea! Maybe you can come and tell him is not right a 54th yeard old man reading that?" "Hey, i'm reading that too...... But i don't think this is going to work because i'll find him  more stories to read!" Pauline explained. "Yeah, that's true! I'm surrunded by Jovinators!" Ava said annoying. "Well, i think that's really cool...." "Please can you come here to rescue me tonight?" "I've loved to but i'll go out with Jesse and i advise you to do the same with Alex!" "Yeah, that's what i'm going to do! Thanks for the advise!" "Nothing...." "Bye! See ya!" "See ya!" Pauline said and hung up the phone.

"Don't tell me that Richie's reading that bullshit you read?" Zeta asked. "It's no bullshit and yes!" "OOOOO" "Zeta get the fuck of me room NOW!" Pauline yelled and opened her the door. "Ok, don't yell i'm leaving....." Zeta answered and left the room.

The hours flown by and found Jesse at the doorstep of the Timson house. He rund the bell and Katerina answered the door and let him in. Walking to the living room he found Pauline's father who was reading a newspaper. "Good evening Mr Timson!" Jesse said and smiled. Kostas lifted his head and looked to the young man who was standing in front of him. "Hello Jesse! How are you?" "I'm fine! How about you?" "I'm fine and thanks for asking! Have a sit...." Kostas said and left the newspaper on the table. Jesse sut in the couch. Kostas was watching every move that Jesse made. "Look Jesse....." Kostas started and looked Jesse in his blue eyes. "I know that you love my daughter but if you hurt her again i'll make sure you couldn't walk or do anything else in the rest of your life! Did i make myself clear?" Kostas said more surious than ever. He didn't want to see his little girl hurted again. "Yes, sir!" Jesse answered. he wasn't about hurting her again in his whole life. "Very good! You're the lucky one she often give second chances!" Jesse smiled. And i'm not about let this chance go! Be sure about that! 

Katerina walked to the living room and gave Jesse a coke. "Jesus! Where is Pauline?" Kostas said looking his watch. "Kostas relax! She's a girl! She wants to be good every moment!" Katerina said. "Whatever!" Kostas answered annoying.

A few minutes later steps were heard from the wooden stairs. Jesse was the one who turned first. He saw Pauline wearing a summer black dress of the height a little higher of her knees. It was starpless and stressed her breasts. To her neck were the two neckless she was always wear. Looking up to her face she was wearing a little make-up not to much just like he likes it. Her brown eyes were shining. Her hair were down  and it was like they are dancing with every step Pauline was walking down. He got up and went to her side. He was with his mouth open. Why he was always like that when they're going out somewhere nice? Well, who knows.

Pauline was smiling to him. She was trying to hide her heartbeat which was was going faster and faster. Her eyes locked with his she didn't want to see the rest of him because she was sure that will be the end of her, so she let it go. When she came in front of him her heart was pounding so fast in her chest it was like is was going to explod. Her throat was dry and the air in her lungs was getting lower. "You look beautiful Paul!" was the only thing he could say. "Thank you! You look great too!" Pauline answered follwing by a smile.

Katerina from the living room was watching her daughter with her boyfriend. "Look at them!" she said. "If that boy hurt my daughter again i will kick his ass!" "Kostas could you please stop! Don't you get it? Our daughter loves this boy and i'm sure he loves her too! Now, stop saying that bullshit and sit down!" Katerina took the lead.

The young couple after saying goodbye to Pauline's parents they left for the restaurant.Arriving there Jesse parked his car and both walked to the entrance. To the front door there was a man sitting there. Jesse told him his name and that he made a reservation for two. Then a young lady appear and walked them to their table. As they both have their seats the lady gave them the menu and left.

Pauline was looking around the room, it was full of people. "It's really nice here!" Pauline said. "Yeah, my dad brought my mum here and sked her to marry him! So, is a kind of special place for the Bongiovis!" "Really? I didn't know that..... It's really very good choise!" Pauline answered and looked around one more time.

Now a waitress came and took their order. They also ordered some wine this place has a name on the wine list. "I don't know about you but i feel weird!" Pauline said when the waitress left. "Weird? Nah, i feel great!" "Come on take a look around you! Look at all these pleople we're the youngest here!" "So? Is that a problem for you?" "No, is that is a little weird that's all!" Pauline answered. "You know i think we should forget about everything and focus on us for a night!" Jesse said looking her in her eyes. "You sound like a man! And you have no idea how much i love it!" Pauline answered and smiled at him naughtly. "Don't forget i'm already a man!" "Not just a man..... MY MAN!" Pauline said with passion and Jesse smiled. "So, tell me about your trainning!" Pauline said. "Oh it went pretty well! These guys are the best.... and i think that they must liked me!" "Oh that perfect! I'm really proud of you!" Pauline answered and smiled too. "You? How was your first trainning?" "Awesome! And when i saw these guys coming i didn't that they're here for me! From what it seems this season will be the best of our lifies!" "That's true! Are you going there?" "Jesse you kidding? Of course and i'll go! But the must be and other girls like me from all the New Jersey! Is gonna be taught!" "I'm sure you can do this! You have the power and the passion that no one else have! Listen to me you're special! You're born to be somebody! You're a roch not just another grain of sand! You can do this because you can!" Pauline laughed as she recognize the lyrics. "Yeah, i know! You have no idea how many times i've heard this song!" "I believe that i've heard it more than yours! And don't forget i played live! Maybe i should join the band!" "No! I don't want my girlfriend to travel all over the world with my dad's band! I won't let you!" "I wasn't about going! And i have school remember?" "Oh yeah is that too!I hate school!" Jesse said annoying.

The waitress came over and left them the dinner they've ordered. They start eatting enjoying themselves until a blonde woman  walked in the restaurant. Jesse was sitting in the right possiotion and he has a great view to the entrance of the restaurant. "Oh shit!" he said when she saw her walking in. "What is it?" Pauline asked without having any idea of what is coming. "Nothing honey! Just pray not to see us!" Jesse said looking to the woman who came. "Jesse! Who is? And don't make me to ask it twice!" Pauline said more agrresive. "Shit! You wanted to meet her huh? She's coming....... please with whatever she's gonna say i want you to stay calm ok? Please do it for me!" Jesse beged knowing her very well.

Emily was the woman who will get everything she wanted in her life. She's Jennifer's best friend and she had create more that once problems to their relationship. She might be stanning with a first look but looking pretty is the only advantage she had. Seeing Jesse sitting there she went straight the their table. She notised a girl was with him but she didn't pay any attetion. "Oh Jesse darlin'!" she said and kissed his cheek. "Hey, Emily what brings you here?" "Nothing special i just came here to have some dinner!" "That's good!" Jesse answered looking to her. "So, how are going the things between you and that girl....." Emily said and looked up and tried to remember her name. She was a great actress and she managed to raise Pauline's temper in one minute she's here. But if Emily was playing dirty once Pauline could play dirty twice. "Pauline! Nice to meet you Emily! I'm Jesse's girlfriend!" Pauline said with strong voise and held out her hand and shaked with Emily.

Jesse was looking with his eyes rolled he couldn't believe what Pauline just did. She was defently brave and she didn't afraid nobody or anything. But Jesse wasn't the one who was suprised Emily was too. "Nice to meet you too Pauline!" she answered. Then she turned and faced Jesse "Well Jess see ya around!" she said and left the table almost running. "And now let's continue!" Pauline suggested and took a bite. "Did i teel you how much i love you?" "Let me think..... yeah you've said that!" Pauline continue like nothing had hapend. "You're really brace for a 16year old!" Jesse said with a proud smile. "Is not about pride honey! It's that i'm not gonna leave one bitch do whaterever she wants to my boyfriend!" Pauline answered and took a sip of her red wine. "So, you don't want to learn who she is?" "No, i don't want! I told her to have a nice day what does she need more?" "You're turning to a Jersey girl! You have no idea how much i like it!" "You have no idea how much i love a Jersey boy!" Pauline joked. "Mmmm really? Do i know him?" "Maybe! Look he's tall, he has brown hair and light blue eyes and he's looking at me right now!"

This girl has the power to turn on a man with just some simples words. Jesse was her victim. For the rest of the night she was looking him with eyes black with desire. He wanted her as much as she wanted him he could feel it on his jeans. They  might be interapped by a roude visitor but love was in the air. Maybe it was the wine. Maybe it was the place. Maybe its was that they both wanted to be alone for once after all they been throught. Maybe it was the sparke between them. Maybe it was all the above together that makes them feel diferent.

Chapter 23: Lucky You, Lucky Me

Tori Adams

After Pauline's first trainning and the men she met she was exited. Hell, she was more than exited. It's a weird feeling hard to explain even to herself. She must be ready for the competition whenever that will be. She must keep herself ready everyday. She start a diet and everyday excersise.

Putting the earphones to her ears and closed the front door. She puched the play bottom. She remembered the last two times she went for a run. Sure the last one was hard to forget. how can she forget that she runned with Jon Bon Jovi? She must be nuts to forget that. On the other hand she was trying to forget the other one. She didn't want to think about it anymore. She had promised to herself not to think about this again. She sheaked her head and let that bad memory go away.

She start running. She must run at least one mile for today. But she was prepared ofr it. She got music. What else does she need? She turned right to the end of the road. Hell, she loved that neighborhood especialy at this hour. Some people were running leke her and other were taking their dogs out. As she was passing them by the road was going clear and clearer. She was on the open road and she wouldn't let this chance without taking it. She stopped for a second and then runn on her top speed till the end. The breese was coming to her. She loved that feeling. She kept going and never stopped. She was passing people, houses and roads in seconds. She stopped when her lungs couldn't get more oxygen. Taking some deep deep breaths and tried to calm her raised heartbeat. Her heart was pounding in her cheest like crazy. She could hear it clearly. She looked around. A small cafe was at the opposite street. She smiled naughty as she thought the idea of hot coffee in her mouth.

She walked in the cafe. A few tables were free. She sut to the table next to the window and filled her lungs with the smells of coffee. She left her earphones to the desk and look around. A few tables away there is a mother with a young boy, propably her son. The boy's eyes were locked at Pauline's. What the fuck? Who is this boy? I don't think i know him from somewhere! He must think i'm someone else! Never mind. Pauline thought was a pair of light green eyes were still looking at her. "Billy stop looking at this girl!" his mother told him. "Mum, don't you know who she's?" the twelve year old Billy answered. "Who is she?" "Wich volleyball player is Tina's addiction?" Billy asked his mother and took a sip of his milkshake. "That girl is Pauline Timson?" the mother said and her eyes rolled. "I'm going to tell Tina!" Billy said and stared to got up but his mother's hand stopped. "Sit there! Your sister is coming!" the mother said.

From the ladies room Tina walked out. She walked next to Pauline's table. She rolled her eyes as she understands who she just passed by. No, is just a girl that look like her. She keep saying to herself. Arriving at her table she sut in the chair with a weird look on her face. "Everything ok sweetie?" her mother asked. "yeah, is just i thought that i saw Pauline Timson sitting a few tables behind us!" the fourteen year old Tina answered. "You don't think! It's her!" Billy said and looked to Pauline. "What? What does she doing here?" Tina yelled and was taking deep breaths to calm herself down. "Tina, relax! Is just a girl!" her mother said annoying. "No, mum is not just a girl is THE  girl! You don't know her story that's why you say that!" Tina explained to her mum. "What i'm gonna do right now?" she asked in adesperate situation. "Talk to her?" Billy sugested. "No, i can't!" "You can't but i can!" Billy said and got up and this time his mother didb't stopped him. "Billy!" Tina yelled but Billy didn't responce.

Pauline had already ordered her coffee and the truth must be told she couldn't get her eyes off that table. She looked at her phone when she saw that boy coming to her. "Exsuse me! You're Pauline Timson?" a beautiful twelve year old with green eyes appeared. Pauline looked at him and answered. "Yeah, that's me! And you are...." "I'm Billy! And other there is my sister Tina big fan of yours!" Billy said pointed with his hand the table. Pauline almost fall off the chair. She had a fan? At sixteen? Is this Billy lying? "Please can you come over and say hello to her?" he asked using his puppy face. "Oh, you're so sweet Billy! Take the lead!" Pauline said and took her coffee in her hands and the phone in the pocket.

Arriving at the table Tina's head was in her hands she didn't want to look at her. "Hey Tina! How are you?" Pauline asked with a smile. Tina's head lifted as she heard Pauline talking to her. "H-Hi Pauline! How do you know my name?" she asked. "Your brother Billy told me! Can i join you?" Pauline asked politely. "Sure!" Tina answered. Billy had already took his seat next to his mother who remind silenced. Pauline took a chair from the next table and sut next to Tina. "So.... Tina how old are you?" Pauline asked and tried to brake the ice, she was always good at it. "I'm two years younger than you!" Tina said aknowing how old Pauline was. Pauline was trying to stay calm. It was the first time she was talking with a fan of yours and top her mind the last. "Okay.... So how long have you been playing volleyball?" Pauline asked her again. "I started when i was 8 with one friend of mine! I love playing volleyball!" "Yeah, me too!" "I've heard that you're gonna fight for a possition in the women volleyball team of New Jersey is that true?" Tina asked. She had a passion in her voise that Pauline loved from the first time. "Yeah, that's true! I have to pass first of all and then we can see!" Pauline answered and took a sip from her coffee. "I've seen you play!" Tina said and Pauline's eyes rolled waiting of what is next. "Man, you've the most amazing fingers i've ever seen! You're just perfect! The way you set, the way you serve are just awesome! I was in the game when you took nine aces back in back! I was yelling till it couldn't get any voise of my throat! And i must admit that the King is so gorgeous!" Pauline was looking in tina's eyes as she was talking. She has green eyes too and they're shining like a diamond. She could see her reflection from her eyes. "Thank you! So, you're a Jovinator?" "Yeah, a Darksider!" "Oh that's great! Finally i met a Darksider! I usualy meet Jon's girls!" "Yeah, there are too many of those!" Tina said and took a sip of her coffee she seems now more relaxing.

A few seconds passed into silence when Pauline's phone start buzzing. Putting out from her pocket she saw Ava's ID. "Hey, girl! I'm out for a run. No, tommorow i have trainning! Yeah, i'm free! Oh of course..... i'll be there at 08.00 pm! Bye!" Pauline said and hung up the phone. Three seconds didn't pass and the phone rung again. Pauline sighed annoying and looked at the ID which was showing Jesse's number. "Hello there! I'm out you? Oh that's cool! Don't be silly you're gonna be great! Relax everything is gonna be okay! There're no buts! Now, go have a shower and eat some food and so to sleep! And tommorow dodn't forget to call me okay? Yeah, i've been told that before! Me too......" Pauline said and smiling and hung up the phone. "That was Jesse huh?" Pauline's eyes rolled. "How do you know who it was?" "I saw you how you smiled when you looked at the ID!" "But you're looking over the window!" "I saw you with the corner of my eye!" "Wow girl you'll be great setter....." "I'm already one of those!" Tina answered and smile. Pauline shked her head thinking that this girl would be a good setter. She knew that is one the most difult possision on volleyball but there's something about this girl that Pauline liked.

They've talked more than two hours. Her brother and mother had bored themselfs listen them talking. Tina admit that she didn't exept Pauline could speak English that good. Pauline laughed it was the only thing she can do about it.

Leaving the cafe she walked back to her house. The next morning found her a little nervous. Today was Jesse's first trainning in Notre Dame. She knew that when he called she seems to be cool and all this staff but she did it to calm Jesse. Now, she knew what she can do to relax Jesse. She tried to think other things but that was impossible. Of course and she believed in Jesse but it was  his dream to play for this team and she knew very well what that means.

Her worries left her when Jesse called as he promised and told her how much he liked the trainning. His teammates, the kind of trainning and of course the stadium were the things that Jesse liked the most. he was one of the youngest but that wasn't a problem for him. Pauline now she was more reliefed and she could focus on her target.

But before that she must have diner with the Samboras and Tori. Ava really suprised her when she told her that Tori was cooking the dinner. She've heard the she's a great cook but the whole thing wasn't that right. Anyway, leaving the bad scenarios in a box of her mind she rung the doorbell at the sambora house.

Richie opened the door smiling like always. He was dressed in jeans and a black t-shirt. Walking to the living room the air was full of beautiful smels of roast chicken. They couldn't wait for dinner.

When this moment came Tori served them all and the sut in the dining room.

"So, Pauline Ava told us that you're gonna fight of a possition in the women volleyball team!" Tori start breaking the ice. "Yeah, that's true! I hope i can make it! And if i didn't make it there is next year too...." Pauline answered and took a bite from her chicken. "Mmm Tori that chicken is great!" Ava said exited. "I agree!" Richie added. "Yeah, me too!" Pauline answered last. "Hey, Pauline when i called you yesterday where you were?" Ava asked because she hung up very soon. "I was at a cafe with a fan i met!" "How you found fans everywhere? That's weird!" Richie said. "The most weird is that she's also a fan of ME!" Pauline said and the other three pair of eyes looked at her. "What do you mean she's your fan?" Ava asked suprised. "She said that she've watched me play! And she liked the way i'm setting! Now, i know how hard is to talk with a fan!" Pauline said and turned to Richie. "Well, at first time is was weird but now is not...." was Richie's answer. "At least it was the first time i met a Darksider! The blond one has lots of fans!" Pauline admit. Tori's head lifted up and her eyes rolled as she heard 'Darksider'. The other two didn't got a word. "Yeah, that's true! This boy is good! KTF my little SG!" Tori answered. Pauline was suprised by her answer because Tori was a fan too. "Gils what are you talking about?" Richie asked as he looked at Ava who didn't understand anything. Both Tori and Pauline laughed. "What it so funny?" Richie asked a gain a little more surious this time. "It's a Jovi thing you couldn't understand!" they said together and laughed again. "You have no idea with what stories we can come up with!" Tori added. "Are you reading FF?" "Of course and i do! What's your favourite?" Tori asked Pauline. "Well, the Richie and Sarah saga is really cool...." Pauline wanted to continue but Tori didn't let her. "Oh, that's my favourite too! Man, the way he met her was awesome! And you remember the scene in 'The Answer' when Sarah will leave and Richie said 'If i'm a rock star i can do that too' and kissed her.... Man i left on the floor when i read it!" "And that Jonathan? Man i could have killed him he said that Caleb and Noah are not his sons! The man is crazy! Thank God that he went in jail and Sarah and Richie can live their livies with their son, Daniel...." Pauline added looking at Tori. On the other hand Richie and Ava didn't know what they're talking about. "Ok, and now if you're done can someone explain to us what is Darksider, KTF, FF and the RG?" Richie tried again. "It's SG not a RG! Well, Daksider is a Sambora fan! KTF is Keep The Faith! And SG is Sambo girl! And FF is fan fiction! Are you guys got it?" Pauline explained and Richie and Ava nobbed. "And who is Sarah?" Ava asked. "Sarah is caracter that doesn't exist! Is Richie's wife and the mother of his son Daniel....." Tori explained to Ava. "So, i'm married to with Sarah and i have a son named Daniel?" Richie asked. "Yep and two others Caleb and Noah! But these  are Sarah and Jonathan's sons but you adopt them......" Tori explained more and Pauline added "Exactly!" "And there are more stories like these?" Richie asked again. Her really wanted to learn more. "Yeah, you can google 'Bon Jovi Fan Fiction' and you can see how many stories are....." Tori explained again as they continue eatting.

While the time was passing Pauline liked Tori more and more. She's a great woman with a great tast of humour. She and Richie were good together. She could it in his eyes. She might be young but the eyes are never wrong. She was happy about them. But more for Richie and Ava. She had a feeling that this relationship will continue for a long time. It will not suprised her if the got married. Tori would be a great mother for Ava. At least these were Pauline's thoughts and she wanted them to become true.

Chapter 22: Play Like A Champion Today

After the day Pauline spend with Jesse on the beach she came back to the everyday routine. Tommorow will start the trainnings again. She've miss so much playing volleyball and her teammates. She was so exited when she saw the message from her coach.

It was afternoon and Pauline was reading a fanfic story with Tico in the main role when her phone rung. Without taking her eyes of the compture screen she pick it up "Hello!" "hey, Pauline! It's me, Maria!" "Hey you girl! Did you see the pictures i send you?" "Actually, this is the reason i'm calling you for....." Maria said and Pauline thought that she didn't like them. "These were so fucking amazing...... I can't believe what Jesse did! The presents? What can i say about them? And as far for the video you send me of you dancing with Jesse......" Pauline take a look at the guitar and the ball as she was holding the necklece. "These must be your best birthday ever....." she added. "Sure they are! And i still can't believe it!" "You're one the luckiest bitches you know that?" "Yeah, i know! And why not the lucky bitch?" "You forget that Richie has a girlfriend!" Maria said a little annoying. "Oh yeah you're right i've forget about her! But he seems to be happy and she's not that bad!" "Have you seen her?" Maria asked as her eyes went wide open. "Only once in the hospital! And her name is the same with fanfic that you're reading right now!" "Her name is Tori Adams?" "Yeah, and she's a pretty woman! Tall, brown hair, green eyes and a nice smile!" Pauline said and it came to her mind the first time she saw her. "I can't belive this! And where did he meet her?" "I have no idea and is not my bussines!" "Yeah, you're right about that! I'm sorry! Is just that sometimes i can't belive how close you're to them! It's with one word UNBELIEBLE!" Maria said they both laughed. "Yeah, i feel that way too! You see i always wanted that and here i am best friend with Ava and Jesse's girlfriend! What's next?" "Marry Jesse?" "This in already in the plan! When its time we'll send you the invitations don't worry! you're not gonna miss this!" "Oh, you guys have you talk about this! He remembers that you didn't finish school yet?" Maria joked. "Yes, he does! And in two years i'll finish school and we can get married...." "Haha i want to see what your parents are gonna do! And Jon will be your father-in-law!" "My parents like Jesse! And as far for Jon i'm looking forword to it!" Pauline said and a noughty laugh followed. "Well, girl is nice to talked to you! Give to Jesse hugs and kisses from me!" "That's for sure! I'll call you if anything happens ok?" "Ok, girl! Bye!" "Bye!" Pauline said and hung up the phone.

She was always feeling weird after Maria had called. She always seeing things with a diferent eyes than Pauline's that's why she was her friend. They have the same age but Maria is living in the center of Athens while Pauline used to live in the suberbs. They've never met and both are looking forward to meet each other one day.

As the hours were passing by them Pauline was walking in the parking lot of the court. Her first training. She was waiting for that moment. As she opened the door her pocket was buzzing. She pulled out the phone and saw a message from Jesse.

19.51-Jesse See you at our bench after your trainning! Is nothing bad..... Love you J

She raised her eyebrow as she read it. Well, at least is not something bad! she talked to herself and walked to where the other girls were. As the warming  up started Pauline couldn't focus on it. She was trying to figure out what Jesse wanted to say to her. She knew from the message that it wasn't bad. As she heard her coache's yell "Pauline where is your mind? I'm talking to you over a minute!" Jerry, her coach yelled. "I'm sorry coach! i was day dreaming!" Pauline apologised. "Ok, let's go back to the trainning! Mary-Jean you serve!" Jerry ordered and give her the ball.

For the rest of the trainning Pauline was focused on what she was doing. It was defently one of the best trainnings she've ever done in a long time. The trainning had finished and Pauline was talking with some girls when two tall men got in the court. Pauline saw them with the corner of her eye but she didn't made a comment. The two unknown men talked with the coach and they looked at Pauline.

"Is that the girl you're talking about?" George asked. "Yeah, George! This girl has the talent on setting! One of the best setters i've ever seen!" Jerry answered and looked at pauline. "And what's her name again?" Paul asked. George and Paul were the coaches of the woman volleyball team in New Jersey and they're looking for new talents to include to their team. "Pauline Timson! She's 16 years old. She moved here last year from Greece!" "She's good! As i can see from the stats here!" Paul said and passed the pappers to George to see them. "Look at that number of aces she had!" George said with an exited voise. "We want to talk to her!" George said and gave the pappers back to Paul.

Jerry left the two men alone and went to where Pauline was. "Hey, Pauline can you come here for a second?" he asked. Pauline exuse herself and followed her coach. When coach and Pauline joined the two men Jerry said "George, Paul i want you to meet our team's setter Pauline Timson!" he said and wait untill they shake their hands. "It's nice to meet you Pauline! My name is George Wafles and here is my coach assistant Paul Dickens! We're the coaches of the women volleyball team of New Jersey....." George start and saw Pauline's eyes how they rolled when he explained who they were. "Your coach Jerry told us that you've talent in setting and as i can see from your stats that's true! To sum up we want you to test you just for a trainning to see how you play and all this stuff!" George added. Pauline lost her words. Is this really happening to her right now? Her heartbeat was going faster and faster. "It's ok by me!" she answered and a great smile of her followed. "Great! The trainning will take place here and will partisipate girls from all over the state!" From all over the state? That screars pauline a little but she didn't let it show. "I don't think that's a problem for me!" she answered and used  her diplomacy. And from what it seems George and Paul liked it. "Exelent! We need this kind of players! We'll let you know when thedate of the competition! It's nice to talk to you Pauline! I hope to see you soon!" he said and he shaked her hand. "I hope that too Mr Wafles and Mr Dickens!" Pauline said and shaked her hand with Paul too and then they left.

For the time pauline couldn't hide how exited she was about that. After hours of trainning she finally will get what she wanted. That was her dream since she was a kid and that didn't have changed as the years passed her by. It was her dream come true. She will not let this chance go away. This is the time she must prove to everybody but mostly to herself what she deserves. Now, she knew that there is no other career choise but being a volleyball player.

She was walking with a stupid smile in her face on the road next to the little lake. It was dark but there are people walking up and down with her. She walked a little fatser and reashed for Jesse to their bench. He was looking down to his feet and pauline sadenly stopped. He was doing the same moves the day they broke up. He was sitting in the same possition looking down to his feet. She shaked her head and let that bad memory go away and never to come back. As she got closer to Jesse he got up having the same stupid smile on his face. He run to her side and hugged tight. He was hugging her so tight that he almost caught her breath. They broke apart and Jessee said "Let's have a sit! I have some wonderful news!"

Once they they both sut on their bench Jesse cleared his throat and started. "Well, as you already know from the time i can remember myself i was playing football! I've change lots of teams but there is only one team that i want to play for.... Notre Dame Fighting Irish!" Jesse said but Pauline's voise and answer suprised him. His eyebrows raised. "I'm fan remember! And i can say that i liked you before i moved here! So, i've learn so things about you..... Now, tell me what's going on!" "Wow, you suprised me here Paul! To get to the point from now on I'M AN OFFICIAL FOOTBALL PLAYER FOR NOTRE DAME!!!" Jesse almost yelled and Pauline hugged him. "Reall? Oh man i can't belive that you did it! Congratulations!! I'm so proud of you......" she said and hugged him again. "Thank you Paul! Finally my dream will come true....." he said and looked up in the clean sky. "Oh speaking of which i have some great news too!" Pauline said and she couldn't hide how happy she was for Jesse and for herself. "Tell me!" he said and turned to face her. "Today when the trainning was over two men came in and asked to talk to me! We talked and they asked me to play in the women volleyball team!" "Oh that's great news!" Jesse said exited. "Yeah, but first they'll test me! And see if i can cope with the trainnings and staff! Plus, that this team will represents the sate of New Jersey to the National Volleyball Cup!" "Wow, you mean that if you passed you'll play for New Jersey and you're gonna get paid?" "Are they getting paid?" Pauline asked with suprised because she've never heard that before "Of course and they are! You're gonna the best setter ever! I can swear to God that you'll be a star someday!" Jesse said and kissed her lightly. "I'm sure you'll be the best football player that ever lived on Earth!" Pauline said too and kissed him. "Now, Miss Timson i think we must celebrate this day don't you think?" Jesse said and got up from the bench and held out his hand. Pauline accepted and stood up too. "Mmm i think is a great idea Mr Bongiovi!" she said when she got up.

Walking hand in hand all the time they arrived to a restaurant. Good for Pauline after the trainning she had a shower and wore clean clothes. Orderning some food they talked about their plans and their careers. When they both talked about their favourite sport and how that make them feel their eyes were getting wide and wider, shine and shiner. They both were playing those sports since they were kids and they're gonna defently keep going on that. They knew deep inside their hearts that one day will be stars. 

Chapter 21: Summertime

Just after a few days in New Jersey Pauline's friends have to leave. It wasn't very pleasent but it have to be done someday.

Only after a day that her friends left from here an idea hit her mind. The next morning she opened her laptop and start searching of what she thought. She had a smile on her face as she was rolling done the page of Google's results. It was defently one of the best ideas she've ever had.

When she found the best she went to Google maps and checked the route. It wasn't that far from the house, only 50 minutes with a car. That wasn't imposible. She boomark the site and went to her phone. Pressed the call bottom in Jesse's number. She was waiting for him to pick it up.

"Morning Paul!" Jesse answered. "Morning to you too gorgeous! Tell me something first tommorow are you free?" Pauline asked. "Yeah, i'm free! And in three days i'll start my training again!" Jesse said and smiled. "That's great! So, you're free tommorow!" "Yes, i'm! But what you little mind of your thought this time?" "Well, i don't know about you but me when it's summer we're all day in the beach! And here is not the same! And after my little research i found a great beach in Jersey! And i thought that if you want to go there together...." "Oh Paul you got me there! You know that i can't say no to you.... How far is it from here?" "Less that one hour! And it has lot's of fast foods and we can eat there!" "As i can see you're good at descovering things!" "I am! Now, i had already checked the route because i'm the driver. I'll come and pick you up at 10.30 am and we'll be there about 11.30 am! Oh and i'll make some sandwiched to take with us in case we're hungry ok?" Pauline explained all her plan to Jesse. "Ok, i'm in! Is gonna be aweosme and we'll be a little alone!" "Oh and don't forghet to bring one extra swimming suit! And if you don't you'll come back on foot!" Pauline joked. "Yes, madam!" "Good! I gotta live you now! I have to go to the supermarket to but some materials and a bottle of suncream!" "Ok, babe i'll see you tommorow! Bye i love you...." Jesse said and sent her kisses. "I love you too...." Pauline said and hung up the phone.

She got up and as she said to Jesse she left for the supermarket. When she was back home for the second time in her life she wanted to cook. The first time she cooked something was the day she met Richie and made him a delicious chacolate cake. But this time it wasn't the same. This time she'll be alone with Jesse away from everything and everybody. This day will belong to them.

At first she thought that she must explain to Jesse what she didn't. But when she thought it again this is the day that they must enjoy themselfs and not to remember the past. She was she that someday will talk with Jesse about this.

The hours passed like running water and Pauline had parked her car outside of the Bongiovi's house. She was dressed on shorts and a pink tank top above of her swimming suit. She had already rung the bell and she could see Jesse was coming. As he was getting closer Pauline rolled her eyes but the sunglasses were hiding her wild open eyes, good for her. Jesse was coming with a big smile on her face wearing sunglasses too. He wearing a purple swimming suit and a dark blue t-shirt maching with the swimming suit.

Pauline was acting like it was the first she saw him. Jesse was looking to himself over and over again "What? Did i got dirty or something?" she asked. "N-No! Is just you seems deferent....." Pauline answered and kissed him. "Diferent huh?" he asked when the broke apart. "But not in a bad way...." Pauline said and walked to the car. "Is because i can't wait to leave!" he said and turned Pauline from her hips and kissed lightly. "Jesse what are doing?" she asked as she was trying to stop. "I'm playing football!" he teased and continue kissing her a little lower of her mouth. "Yeah, smartass! Stop and move your beautiful money maker in the car..... NOW!" she yelled and Jesse got in the car.

When Pauline pulled herself back together and she got in the car too and drove away. "Do you know where we're going?" Jesse asked. "Of course and i know where we're going...." she answered. "Can i ask you something?" Jesse said. "Sure...." Pauline answered. She has no idea what kind of question will follow. "What is money maker?" Pauline couldn't do nothing else but laugh. She was laughing loud. "You don't know? Really? I thought you knew what is...." "I don't know! You'll tell me?" "Well, money maker is the ass!" Pauline tried to say as Jesse looked really shocked. "You're talking about me ass?" Pauline nobbed. Jesse didn't think what money maker will mean. He was laughing along with Pauline. "So, you think i have a geat ass?" "That's true! But if you're going to be like your dad i'll lock you in my room and keep you there!" Pauline joked. "That sounds good!" Pauline raised her eyebrow. "I'm just kidding honey....." Jesse answered.

After a long time drive they finally arrived to the beach. Pauline parked the car and took with her the sandwishes she've made, some colas, an umbrela. The weather was best. It was getting hot out there. They walked and found a great spot and left their staf on the sand. Jesse as the man fix the umbrela in the sand while Pauline was looking around in the beach.

When she came back the umbrela was really and Jesse was sitting under of it. Pauline came and sut next to him on the other towel. "Is really good here!" she said. "Yeah, i've never been there before!" Jesse admit. "Me too! i found it on the net! It said that is one of the beast beaches in New Jersey!" "That's cool! Let's find it out!" Jesse said and got up. He put away his t-shirt. Pauline was looking from down and her her eyes went wild open. "What?" he asked. She didn't want to tell him what she've thought and she keep it to herself. "Nothing just looking at you!" she said and got up too. Pauline put away first het shorts and the tank top followed a few seconds later. She was wearing a purple bikini. Her hair were down in her natural curles. Jesse's breath caught is throat. he've never saw her before with a bikini. He was looking for her head to her toes. he tried to pass fast and breasts and her hips. He could feel something was going on in his swimming suit. When he took it under control he said "Let's go swimming!" Pauline nobbed and both went to the water.

The water at first was a little cold but when Jesse threw her water. She warned him and now he's swimming as fast as he could to get away from her. Pauline was a very good swimmer and Jesse wouldn't escpape that easy. They swum far fromm the coast and Jesse stoped. "Ok! You got me...." "I told you not to threw me water..... but it was fun and you'll warm me up!" "It must be very deep here!" Jesse said and took one deep breath and disappear into the water. When he came back he was breathless. "It is deeper than i thought! let's go back!" he said and start the swimming again and Pauline followed.

When their feet hit the ground of the beach they both left the sea and sut under their umbrela. Jesse took one towel for him and one for Pauline and pass it to her. Once they both were dry they put their sunglasses on and sut. "I've made some sandwishes for today!" "Yeah? With what?" "Cheese, ham, tomato,  lettuce and a sause i made!" Pauline answered with a proud smile. "That sounds really delicious! Give me one!" Jesse said. Pauline smiled and opened the bag she brought with her. She found the sandwishes and gave him one. Jesse took a bite. "Paul this is delicious!! I didn't know you can cook!" "Thank you! I can't cook is just a sandwish!" "Yeah, now is a sandwish but in a few years will be a delicious steak...." "Maybe but i don't really like the cooking thing....." "Don't worry honey, i'll be there to taste all the food you're gonna made!" Jesse said and Pauline's eyes went wide open. He was taking it so far from now. Of course and she didn't have a problem with that but usualy girls had thoughts like these. "I can see us in few years from now! You and me in our house next to a river or the sea with our children running around us!" Jesse said. He can picture them together forever. He wanted Pauline to be the mother of his children. He wanted to live with her. Hell, he wanted to live with her all his life. He wanted to call him her husband. "Children and a house next to a river huh? That sounds intersting!" Pauline's voise made Jesse jumped, he was lost in her thoughts. "Yeah, two or three will be good! As far for the house i can see it in front of my eyes right now!" "What can you see?" Pauline asked and saw Jesse closed his eyes. "Big house, morden! With two floors. A very large garden so a beach volley court can fit in!" Pauline smiled as her eyes were now closed too. "Maybe a pool can fit there too!" Pauline added. "Yeah, sure it can fit in! A large living room so our family can have a luch on Sundays and a good size kitchen so you can realn how to cook and become better!" Jesse continue. "Moving to the second floor our bedroom will be the largest! With a staning view to the river or the ocean! With a jacuzzi too and we can use it when is cold outside!" Pauline said as she imagine them in the jacuzzi. "But the part of uor bedroom will be the bed. A king size bed will be perfect! I wanna get lost in the bed!" Pauline continue. Jesse laughed. He didn't exept from her to say that.

Both blue and green eyes opened in the same time. "This is how i imagine our house!" they said together and then laughed. It was hard to believe that their tastes of everything were so close. they are gonna defently be one of best couples when they grow up. Thye possibilty of them being apart when they'll grow up is just not exist. It was sure that they're going to be together for a long, long time.......

Chapter 20: Couldn't Be Not You

The night that passed seems like a century to all of them. Jesse couldn't sleep because he'll go to his house after a long time. The girls were looking forword to see Pauline after a year. Pauline on the other hand she has no idea what is waiting her when she'll go to the hospital. She has no idea that her birtday are tommorow.

The morning of the 13th of August passed a little fast. Dorothea went and left some clean clothes for Jesse to wear. She couldn't hide how exited she was about his son. After a long time battle he finnaly won!

Pauline left in the morning for her work. Her parents and sister wished her happy birthday but this time Zeta didn't suprised her like the previous year. The time in work passed really quick that Pauline didn't know that it was the time to leave. She was waiting that moment for a month.

She arrived at home and had a shower. She choose some nice clothes to wear and left again her house. This is the last time she'll go to the hospital. She hit the gase a little more that she used to and arrived in the hospital more early.

She parked and went to Jesse's room. Opening the door for her big suprise she found Jesse alone sitting in a chair. He was dressed in jeans and a white t-shirt. Pauline froze at this view. "W-Where is everybody?" she asked. Jesse got from the chair and went to her. "My dad has meeting for the next leg of the tour. My mum is with Romeo and Jacob because they're feeling a little sick and sit with them!" he lied. "Stephanie?" Pauline asked. "She's with Mark, her boyfriend!" Jesse lied again. All these were in the Bongiovi house waiting for them. Pauline raised an eyebrow. Something is not right here! Something's going on! she told to herself. "Can we leave now Paul?" Jesse asked and then he kissed her sweet. "Sure, let's go!" she answered and left the room walking hand in hand. Arriving at Pauline's car Jesse said "You got a nice car here girl! When you bought it?" "My parents gave it to me the day we broke up!" Pauline said and climed into the car. Jesse did the same a few seconds later. Once both put their seatbelts Pauline put the machine forword and left the hospital's parking lot.

With Jesse's instuctions they pulled to the Bongiovi's driveway. Jesse taped the code in the gate and slowly opened. Pauline parked the car next to one of Jon's. Jesse looked around his house. "You really miss it huh?" Pauline asked him. Jesse looked at her and took her hand in his "Sure, but i missed that more!" he said kissed her with all the passion he had. When they broke apart for the kiss Jesse said "Come on Paul let's go inside!" they walked hand in hand again to the doorstep. Jesse pulled they key from his pocket and opened the door. "After you madam!" he said and let Pauline walk in first. He closed the door behind him. Everything was so quite like nobidy was in the house. "Where is everyone?" Pauline asked. "I don't know let's to the living room!" Jesse said and walked along with Pauline to the living room.

Lights went on. People were going out from almost everywhere. A very large label was in the air saying 'Sweet 16 Angel!' "HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAULINE!!!" they all said with one voise. Pauline's hands went to her mouth of suprise. She've lost her words. From the people Romeo tried to walk away and went to hug Pauline. She kneed down when she saw him coming. "Happy birthday!" he said and hug her close and tight. Pauline got up with Romeo in her arms "Thank you big man!" she answered and kissed his cheek. "Hey Angel put him down it's our turn now!" David yelled. Pauline laughed and put Romeo on the floor.

For the next minuts Pauline was hugging and kissing everyone in the room. When there is only one left, Jesse. He pulled her in his arms and put her in the air. "Jesse put me down!" she said more that three maybe four times. Jesse put her down and kissed her lightly "Happy birthday Paul!" "You did all this?" she asked when they broke apart. "Yeah!" "B-But how?" "You think because i was in a hospital i couldn't arrange a party for my girl? Or you think that i could ever forget your birthday?" "Oh Jesse...." she said and this time she kissed with a little more power and passion that it have too. "Hey lovebirds why don't you come here? It's the gift time!" Ava yelled at them.

Both Pauline and Jesse walked where all the others were. It was a corner in the living room with Pauline's presents. Pauline was so amazed by that. It was kind of swwet of them and this is only the begining. Tico took his present and went to Pauline "Angel as the older here i wish you happy birthday! Here is a little thing to remember that day!" Tico said and passed it to Pauline. "Oh Tico that was no necesery!" she said and hug him. "Don't waist more time open it!" he said again. Pauline couldn't say no to Tico. This size was a little weird for a present. It was the size of one meter and about 50 cm tall. Pauline tore the wrapper and a beautiful portrate of her came out. She was playing volleyball. It was the time she was doing a jump serve. It was stanning and it was autographed by Tico. "Oh my God!" was the only thing she could say right now. She hugged Tico one more time. "Thank you very much Tico! I love it!" she said and gave him her best smile.

David's turn. "Angel i'm sure that if you like Tico's present you're gonna love mine!" David said and gave her a box. The size of the presents it was getting really weird. She opened the box and found a FIVB official game ball. As she turned it around.... "Oh my God! Is signed by Matt Anderson! Oh my God!" Pauline yelled. "B-But wait Joker a minute how did you know who is my favourite volleyball player?" she asked because she couldn't remember if she said that. "It wasn't very dificult with just a phone call i've learnt it!" David answered. "You called my sister?" she asked in suprised "Yeah, i did! At least she helped me with that!" "Oh Joker come here......." she said and her arms opened and closed with David in them.

She was waiting that moment since Tico started with the presents. Richie and Ava with their present walked to Pauline's side. Ava hugged her tight and said "Happy birthday!" she was hugging her so tight "Ava let her breath!" Richie yelled from behind her. "Oh i'm sorry...." she said and let her free. Richie step forword and looked in her eyes. She never saw his eyes from this short destance it was defently the most chocolate brown eyes she've ever seen. Richie has in his hands Pauline's present. It was about the height of Pauline's waist. "This is something small we found and we thought that you'll like it!" Richie said and passed it to her. A small present can fit here? she thought. She opened the box and she pulled out a black acoustic guitar. It looks like the one she already had but this one has one more detail. On the body of the soundboard of it Pauline recognize Richie's handwriting and she read it. Dear Angel, you had me from hello... You'll live in my heart always and forever..... Much love RS. This is written in gold letters by Richie. Pauline felt an emotion hard to explain. Richie's words touched very bad her heart. She didn't know what to do. She knew that to thank him wasn't enough. The atmoshere was full of emotions.

Jon clear his thoat and said "Angel if you're going to spend all the time with Swingman's present you got it bad!" Pauline laughed. Jon got closer to her and pulled from his pocket a small red box. Pauline put the guitar on the ground. Jon looked her in the eyes. "Pauline i don't know how much time will take me to thank you for that you did, it might took me years! You gave to my son his life back and he's here with us because of you.... Is really hard to describe what are my feeling about you. It's been just a year when i met you..." "Oh come on Kidd end your speech i'm hungry!" David yelled to Jon. Everybody in the room laughed. "Alright! Alright! This is from you Angel!" Jon finally finished and gave to Pauline the little red box. Pauline opened it and saw a necklece with platinum wing of an angel. "Oh Jon is so beautiful!" she said as she run her fingers on it. "It was Jesse's idea! I just found it...." Jon explained. Pauline looked at Jesse was was standing there oppisite to her. She hugged him tight and almost caught his breath. "You'll always be my guardian angel!" he whispered to her ear. Jesse took the necklece and wore it on Pauline's neck. It was matching perfectly with her. Pauline took the angel's wing and turned it to the other side. She read what it was engraved on it You'll always be my guardian angel. J Pauline close it into her hand so tight. Pauline turned and gave Jesse a kiss to his cheek. She wanted to go a little lower than his ckeek but she couldn't do it in front of his parents. "Ok enough with that let's ate the cake!" David yelled one more time.

They all sung to Pauline the birthday song and wished her happy birthday again. Thurther more they had and their personal photographer, Jacob. "Hey Pauline can you help me with the cake in the kitchen?" Stephanie said when they ate the cake. "Sure, let's go!" Pauline answered. Stephanie had talked with Jesse when Pauline was taking pictures with Romeo. Stephanie with Pauline left the living room and head to the kitchen. Stephanie left and Pauline didn't notised it.

Arriving in the kitchen she opened the door and......

Her screams were heard all over the living room. Melina, Amalia and Stefania were there sitting in the kitchen table and they are trying not to laugh from Pauline's reaction. They got up all and hugged Pauline for a long time. Pauline couldn't hide how happy she was. When they broke apart Melina said "You know you were right about one thing!" she said and shaked her head. Pauline really didn't wait to hear that. "Oh you mean about the house? Yeah i was like that too when i passed that doorstep!" "I'm not talking about that...." Pauline raised an eyebrow "She talking about Jon's ass......" Amalia said annoying. "All the time we're here she's talking about that! She's worse than you...." Stefania added. "Well, can we leave for a little Jon's anatomy and tell me how the fuck you came here?" Pauline asked. "Jesse!" said all thre together. "Jesse did this too?" she asked and the suprise was on her face. "I love the necklece!" Melina said and looked at it in Pauline's neck. "I love the ball!" Amalia added "I love the guitar! This guy really got it with the emototions...." Stefania said last. "Y-You mean the you had already meet them?" Pauline asked suprised again. It was her day to be suprised. "Oh yeah! We met Tico a few hours ago....." Melina explained. "Lucky you Pauline!" Stefania said. "You say lucky me and i say lucky Tori!" "Who's Tori?" Amalia asked as they all sut in the chairs. "Richie's girlfriend!" Pauline said with a little devil voise. "Pauline no! It's not a good idea to kill her!" Melina said terified. "I'm not gonna kill her! I'm just jelous! That's all...." she explained and sut back in the chair. "We're jelous of you! Jesse is........ Is...... Is....." Amalia start to explain but she couldn't find the right words. "I think what Amalia is trying to say is that Jesse is the.... The...... The...." Stefania tryied too but it was harder than she thought it would be. Melina had already found the perfect words to describe him and said "The girls are trying to say that Jesse is perfect for you! Is the best boyfriend you could ever ask for! He's so sweet and funny and all that! And he loves you with all his heart!" Melina finaly put into words the feeling which are hard to say. "Yeah, i know that...." Pauline said and shaked her head thinking of that. "Now enough with the talking! I'm gonna dance with Colton......" Stefania said and got up first. "No! I'm gonna dance with Colton!" Amalia said and got up too. "No! I'm gonna dance with Colton!" Melina said agressive and hit her hand on the table. "GIRLS! I'm gonna dance with Jesse! And Colton doesn't dance that good as Romeo! But i really want to see these guys shaking their money makers! This is going to be intersting!" Pauline said and all four best friends left the kitchen.

Thye next few hours they are all dancing. Pauline was right Romeo was the dancer of the night. While Jacob took more that 300 pictures of them dancing. It was a crazy day and a craziest night. This is how sweet 16 would be like. And when the ballads came over..... Jesse challenged his father to slow songs. It can be seen for a muiles away who win this. Jon with Dorothea did a very good job. No one can bit the young couple of Pauline and Jesse who slow dacing was their departement.

Chapter 19: Name The Place And I'll Be There

Only one day left and Jesse will go to his house and Pauline will celebrate her 16th birthday. Melina, Stefania and Amalia were already in the plane flying to New York's airport. David was in town for some shopping and he's the one who'll take the girls at the hotel.

As the hours flown by David was waiting in the airoprt holding a label with their names. He's didn't wait too long. He looked around a little. Good for with no one had recognize him at least for now. He bought a coffee and sut in a chair. Checking his watch he thought that they must landed 30 minutes ago. He looked at the door as it opened.

Several people were passing by. David lifted the label and there they were. Three girls were walking with their suitcases. They didn't know who is going to pick them up from the airport to the hotel. They almost had a fight because every girl wanted someone else to pick them. But Stefania won this one. They saw David. All three laughed and looked at Stefania.

Walking to him and David walked to them. "You must be Pauline's friends!" he said. "Yeah, we're!" Stefania took the lead. "I'm Stefania! And there are Melina and Amalia!" she said and introduse her friends to David. "It's nice to meet you all! I'm David by the way or Joker as Angel is calling me!" David said start walking to the exit. "Who's Angel?" Amalia asked. "Pauline! It's her Jovi nickname! Jon thought it!" "And you all call her 'Angel'?" Melina asked a little suprised. "Yeah!" David asked and put the suitcases in the car.

The tree girls and David got in the car. After a 30 minute drive David arrived at the hotel parking lot. He helped the girls to got the the room and infored them that Jon will come too and drive them to the hospital to talk with Jesse for the details.

The girls make themslefs comfortable in the room. It was on the top floor of the hotel and had a fantastic view to the river. It was quite big with three single beds and one large bathroom. "Look at that view man!" Amalia said and walked out in the balcony. "Holy..." Melina said when she went to the balcony too. "Now i know why Jon has a house next to the river.." Melina said and shaked her head. "True! But isn't this weird? I mean we just left Greece and come here to suprise Pauline! David Bryan drove us from the airoprt to the hotel! And Jon Bon Jovi will drive us from here to the hospital!" Amalia said and Stefania joined them. "Sure it is! You remember how much stories Pauline made about meeting them?" Stefania asked the other two. "Yeah, how can we forget that! She's talking about them everyday! I don't know about you girls but i can hardly wait to meet Richie!" Amalia admit and went in the room and Melina with Stefania followed. "Why?" Stefania asked and closed the balcony's door behind her. "You know, is her favourite we've heard so much about him and maybe he've heard so much about us!" Amalia explained. "I want to meet Jesse!" Melina said next once they start saying which one they want to meet. "Yeah, me too..." Stefania added. "Hey you've won! You said that you want David and here he bring us here!" Amalia answered and that was a true fact. Stefania didn't answered and Melina took the lead "You know when he called me i thought that it was a joke! When he said his name i lost my words! How Pauline do that?" she asked and looked to her friends. "I think that she just get used to it! We'll see tommorow how she'll react when she'll see us!" Amalia answered.

A few hours later the girls had had a shower and they are watching tv when someone knocked the door. Melina got up from the couch and went to answer the door. Arriving at the door she checked the door's eye. "OH MY GOD! Pauline's Superman is here!" Amalia almost slip her water. "Stay calm and open the door!" Stefania said and clear a little that table and the couch. Melina took a deep breath and opened it.

As the door opened Jon lifted his head and look in a girl shorter than him. He cleared his throat and said "Hi, i'm Jon!" "Hi Jon! I'm Melina! Come in...." Melina said and gave him a good smile of hers. She let Jon walk in and closed the door behind her. Jon went to the living room where Amalia and Stefania were standing. "Hey, girls! I'm Jon.." he said and he shaked hands with both. "Nice to meet you Jon! I'm Amalia and here is Stefania!" Amalia explained. "First of all welcome to the grade state of New Jersey! I hope you had a nice  flight!" "Yeah, we did! And we want to thank you all for that trip!" Melina answered to Jon. She was the one that she wasn't that nevervous as Amalia and Stefania were. "Oh, it's ok! Now, are you ready to leave?" he asked. "To go where?" Stefania finnaly spoked. "To the hospital! Jesse wants to talk to you all and arange the last details for the party! I'll be in the hall of the hotel! Meet you there in 10 minutes!" Jon ordered. He said goodbye to Pauline's friends and went to the door and Melina went with him.

Once Melina was back she had a naughty smile on her face. "Oh don't tell you that you notised that in just one minute he was here!" Amalia asked Melina when she saw that smile. "No wonder why Pauline was talking about that ASS! He was friendly! What happend to you by the way?" Melina asked and opened her suitcase to find a t-shirt. "Nothing happend to us!" Stefania said and  wore her shoes. "How about you Amalia?" "Me? I'm ok! Is just i couldn't think he'll come that's all!" Amalia said and put her mobile in her pocket.

About 20 minutes later Pauline's friends and Jon were walking in the hospital hallway to Jesse's room. Arriving thereJon opened the door but for a suprise Richie and ava were already there. The girls were with their mouths opened. They hoped that they didn't notised. "Melina, Stefania, Amalia come in!" Jesse said from his bed. The girls looked at the young man lying on the bed. It was like Pauline said he was like. Brown hair and light blue eye's just like Jon's. "Let me introduse you! This is Richie Sambora and his daughter Ava! Guys these are Melina, Amalia and Stefania, Pauline's best friends!" Jesse explained and wait until they shaked their hands. "I've heard so much about you finaly i meet you!" Ava said with a reliefe voise. "You've heard so much about you too Ava! Pauline is talking about you too!" this time Stefania took the lead. "She told me that she've done the craziest things in her life with you!" Ava said again. "You mean the day that she rum away from the house and watch New Year's Eve in the mall with us?" Melina asked Ava because she was the craziest thing she've ever done. When Melina said New Year's Eve Jon rolled his eyes. Melina saw him and turned to him and said "Yes, Jon the movie you starred on! But don't tell that to her parents! They don't know it...." Melina added and all laughed and promised that they'll not tell it.

Jesse clear his throat and faced the girls "Now, girls listen to me! I'll be out in the afternoon and Pauline's working the morning sift! So, she'll drive me home. Here you'll be for the suprise party but you'll be hiding in the kitchen. And at some point i'll aske her to bring me something for the kitchen and BOUM she'll see you! What do you think?" Jesse asked her friends. "Your plan is really awesome, Jesse! Pauline's going to loose her mind when she'll us!" Melina said exited. "This is going to be amazing...." Stefania said thinking how will be that. "I'm looking forword to it!" Amalia added. "Me too.... i hope everything will work out!" Jesse said.

Pauline's friends sut with Jesse a little more to know him better. When the girls left to the hotel he was alone in the room. His last night in this hospital. He knew from the first hand he's not going to sleep. He was so exited that sleeping was the last thing he wanted to do. After almost one and half month he'll be free. he can play football again. Not even God knows how much he missed it. It was the worse summer ever by far.

Jesse was lying in the bed his hands were back of his head. He closed his eyes and picture him and Pauline together. After a long fight with himself he remembed how they met and all the details. He could see them in the future together. In a house next to the river or the ocean because both grow up next to the sea and both wanted a house close the beach. He can even imagine them having children. Lots of children. This is how he wanted his life to be when he'll say goodbye to the hospital, full of dreams and love.

Chapter 18: Take A Look Into These Eyes

Jesse's plan has already begun. The firsti step was to call her friends and ask them. Done. Now the most deficult part was to tell his parents. He hopes that they can help him with that because he can't leave the hospital.

Three more days in this hospital and Jesse will be at his home. Dorothea and Jon went to the hospital in the morning and found Jesse up playing with his phone. "Morning honey! You slept good?" Drothea asked and kissed his cheek. "Very good!" Jesse answered and smiled. Both his parents sit on the chairs. "Now, Jesse this is your only chance! Don't crew this up!" he told to himself and cleared his throat.

"Mum. Dad. I want your help about something!" Jesse started and put the phone on the night stand. "Sure honey tell us!" Dorothea answered first. "As you know in three days i'm out of here. Also the same day Pauline has her birthday and i want to organise a party for her!" he started. "You have something special on your mind?" Jon asked. "Yes, i do! I invited her friends from Greece to come over...." Jesse droped the bomb to his parents. He closed his eyes as he said those words. "And are they coming?" Jon asked again. "I don't know yet! Melina said that she's going to call me today to let me know!" Jesse said and checked his phone one more time. "Don't worry about the tickets! If they are coming i'll pay for those and i'll book a hotel room to stay in!" Jesse said with strong voise. Dorothea was looking once to Jon and once to Jesse. They remaind silent. This worried Jesse even more. When he could stand it anymore he said "I knew it that you couldn't let me to do that! But if you remember i'm an adult! I can take my own desicions! I'm asking this because i'm here and i can't go out! But if you don't want to help me it's ok! You're not obliged anyway!" Jesse said and looked down to the bed covers. He was sure no matter how hard he was trying his parents wouldn't help him. But this was what he was thinking. And not what his parents were thinking. "Jesse you guessed wrong! We didn't say anything because you suprised us! We never thought that you're going to do something like that! And you know what? If i were you i've done the same!" Jon explained to his son his thoughts. "You know how much we like Pauline and you think that we didn't help you to do this?" Dorothea said. "You like her?" Jesse asked with suprise. "Of course and i like her! She has something that none of your ex's had. She has a passion and the strongness to do anything she wants!" Dorothea answered knowing that Pauline was the right girl for her son. "I have an idea...." Jon said with the look of having an idea. "If the girls are gonna make it we can have a party in the house! Invite the guys and their kids to meet her. She's a part of the Jovi family...." Jon explained and shaked his head. "Wow hold on a second! You never make a partf of the Jovi family that easy! What happend?" Jesse asked suprised of what his father said. Pauline while she told him the story she didn't metion that she donate some of her blood to save Jesse. "She didn't tell you?" Jon asked. "No, she didn't!" "Well, you've had lost lots of blood and Pauline was the only one with the same bloodtype and she donated her blood to save you. Then she faint because she didn't ate nothing and went in the hospital for three or so days." Jon explained what Pauline didn't told him. "Y-You mean that i have her blood in my veins?" Jesse asked and touched the veins on his hand. Jon nobbed. "But why she didn't tell me?" he asked and looked to his parents. "We don't know honey! Maybe she didn't want to be selfish or something like that!" Dorothea answered. "Maybe!" Jesse said and singed. "Get some sleep! You needed and we can talk about that when you wake up ok?" Jon suggested.

Jesse lying on bed and closed his eyes. Her blood is running throught my veins! She faint to save me! How much does she loves me? Not as much as i love her! She's a member of my family now and in a few years will be wife..... Jesse thought and he fall asleep on the bed.

As Jesse was sleeping and he was alone in the room his phone start runging from the night stand. Jesse opened his eyes and took the phone in his hands. He looked the ID it was Melina. "Hello?" Jesse asked. "Hey Jesse it's Melina! I've heard you're doing great!" "Yeah, that's true and i'll be better if you're coming!" "That was the reason i called! I talked with the girls and the parents and ......  we're coming!" "Really? Are you coming?" Jesse asked and Melina couldn't stop laughing. "Yeah, we're coming!" "Perfect! Look, how is the plan. You're coming on the 12th in New Jersey and i've already book you a room to stay in. On the 13th my dad maybe will come to pick you up from the hotel to the house and you're going to wait for me and Pauline to arrive. She doesn't know anything so if you talk with her don't say anything!" Jesse explained. "Got it!" "My dad will arrange the tickets on the airport you just have to say only your names! And when you get here i don't know who is going to take you to the hotel! But don't worry about that i'll text you when i know!Ok?" "Yeah, everything is ok! Well,now i'll let you to rest and see you in a few days! Bye!" "Bye!" Jesse said and hung up the phone.

Now, all the parts of his plan were done. He couldn't stop smiling. Pauline is going to love it.He can picture her react when she'll see her best friends. He was looking forword to that. These two days will be like a century.

A few minuts later Jon came but he left quickly again. Jesse told him that Melina called and that they are coming. So, Jesse told him to book a flight for three and a hotel room near to the house. Jon was really happy about it. He left with a smile on his face too. 

 Jon had left to by the tickets and Jesse was alone on the room. The dooor opened slowly and his girl entered the room. Pauline closed the door behind her and waled to the bed "Hey Paul!" Jesse said with a smile. "Hey Jess! How are you?" Pauline asked. She was feeling bad because the last days she didn't coming as much as she wanted to come. Jesse could feel that something was bothering her. "What's wrong honey?" Jesse asked and took his hand on hers and looked her in the eye. Pauline singed. She was always honest with him and that wouldn't change now. "Is that i'm sorry that the last few days i wasn't there for you. I was buzy with work and some other things that musy taken care of!" Jesse raised an eyebrow. "Other things?" "I can't tell you right now but i promise i will explain everything that happend with your accident! I promise!" Pauline said with sure on her voise. Jesse moved closer for a kiss. Their lips met for a passionate kiss. Pauline let Jesse's tongue explore her mouth for a hungry kiss. His hand touched the back part of her head and he continue kissing her with more and more passion with every second that passes. After a long time kiss they finally broke apart breathless.

Pauline rolled her eyes. She never been kissed like that before. Jesse on the other hand thought that might overcome it a little. He pulled back and said "I'm sorry...." "Wow you've never kissed me like that before! And i'll kick your ass if you didn't do that again! Al least let me know before to take a deep breath ok?" Pauline said as her heartbeat came back to normal. Jesse laughed. "Ok, i'll warn you...." he said and placed a small gentle kiss on her lips. "Oh, i've got some very good news! On the 13th i'm going home!" "WHAT? Oh my God!" Pauline said and hugged him closer and closer. "You don't mind to drive me back home right?" he asked. He tried hard not to laugh because he knew what will wait her in the Bongiovi house. "Of course and i don't mind!" "I'll tell you where is it!" "You don't have to! I slept there one night and i can say that the bed is really comfortable!" Jesse raised an eyebrow. "You slept on the master bedroom?" Pauline was a teaser sometimes and that was one of these days. "Yeah, it's really big and your dad was snorring all night!" Pauline joked. "He snored?" "Yeah, you know some men after sex snor and your dad is one of them...." Pauline continue her little joke. Jesse rolled is eyes. It was so fun, men believe everything. "You didn't do it! Tell me that you didn't!" "Are you kidding me? I lose me words every time i look at him! And the truth i selp with one Bongiovi, the youngest! I've forgot how is to have a 9 year old sleeping with you!" Pauline couldn't hold it anymore and start laughing. "Yeah. Yeah. Keep laughing! You know that you sceared the fuck out of me?" Jesse said a little more surious. "I wish you could see your face! But if you want to test i couldn't sleep with Jon! There is no way...." "But you slept with me when you're sick, remember?" Jesse asked. In Pauline's mouth a smile appeared. He remebered the first time they slept together, that's a good start. "With you is a lot deferent sutiation! You're my boyfriend! You were my target in the first place!" "I was your target?" Jesse asked with suprised. "Well, at first when i saw Ava i thought that i was going to see you! And she invited me in the party i was thinking that you might come! And you came but i didn't recognize you! You've change a lot since the latest picture i've seen you!" Pauline explained her thought that no one else knew. "So, you mean that you know who i was and you've done all that?" "No! It came throught my mind! I mean the name, the age, the smile, the eyes and of course the ass! But keep telling myself 'No there's no way he'll be him!' " Pauline explained again. "You're the first that you tell about my ass!" "The others are just blind!" Jesse was keeping laughing. "You were my target too if you know!" Jesse started. "Oh really from when?" Pauline asked with raised her eyebrow. "Since you met my dad! He told me that you're pretty but i've never thought that you'll be THAT pretty!" Jesse said and rolled his eyes. "And Ava told me that you'll be at the party i really wanted to meet you!" he added. "At least we met one way or another!" Pauline said and smiled.

Some seconds of silence passed until Jesse was the one who broke it. He cleared his throat. How did you felt when you find it out?" he asked with low voise. Pauline lifted her head and looked him in his beautiful blue eyes. She singed. To be honest with you it was afeeling that i never want to feel it again. It was mixed. I felt anger, pain and i wanted answers!" she said and looked down. "You're going to get them! But is not the right place or the time to talk about that!" Jesse said and lifted her head with his hand. He take a look into her brown eyes. They were diferent since the last he looked into them. But there are still the most beautiful brown eyes he've ever seen. "When i'm ready i'll explain everything!" Jesse said and kissed her lightly.

Pauline and Jesse admit to each other the thoughts that no one else knew. The thoughts that will stay in their minds, at least that was what the thought. They admit that both wanted to meet each other. Their meeting was fatal. These two they are going to meet one way or another. Is their karma to be together always and forever.

Chapter 17: Walking In The Footsteps

After a day full of emotions and running Pauline woke up in the morning. Checking her phone she saw a text from Ava " Be at the park opposite from the school at 13.00!" 

She singed. The last time she went to a park it was with Jennifer and it wasn't a good expirience. She checked the hour. She must be there in an hour! She dressed fully and went to the kitchen to ate some breakfast.

Breakfast done and carkeys on the hand. Leaving her house she remember the day that she descovered who Jesse was. She shaked her head to let that memory go away. She promised to herself not to think that never again.

Arriving at the park Pauline parked the car. She found Ava but she wasn't alone, Alex was with her. She walked forward to them. "Morning guys! I hope is something important i need to know because i just woke up!" Pauline said joking thinking they just wanted to hang out together. Ava with Alex looked at her with a dead look. That scread Pauline and sut in the bench between them.

Pauline looked from Ava to Alex. No one said nothing since Alex cleared his throat. "Pauline we're here to talk about Zack!" he said and looked at her. "About Zack? But why?" Pauline asked. "Because he didn't leave his house for the past three days! That's why!" Alex said more aggresive. Ava touched his hand and nobbed to him to calm down. Alex sallowed and said "We thought that you might now why!" "I do! I asked him to talk. He came. i told him that i see him as a friend and not as he wanted me to see him! I know it's hard for him to understand that but what can i do?" Pauline explained them. "Oh, that's all make sense!" Ava said and crossed her arms. "How does he get it?" Alex asked. "He seems to got it well at least when he left he was pissed! That's all!" Pauline answered. "Pauline i want you to talk with him!" Alex offered. "I'm sorry Alex but i can't! We have talked about it more than once! Because of that reason Jesse had the accident!" Pauline said. Ava and Alex raised an eyebrow "What?" they both said. Pauline singed. "One day i went out for a running. I saw Zack with the car and he offered me to go for a coffee, i accepted. When we arrived there we talked about me and Jesse and he was getting closer to me. He kissed me. After that with the corner of my eye i saw a car driving away. I recognize that plates. It was Jesse's!" she said and looked them in the eyes. "Then you know what happend!" she finished. Pauline left both Ava and Alex speechless. "Y-You mean that Jesse had the accident because he saw you and Zack kissing?" Ava asked with raised her eyebrow. "Yeah, that's why i was blaming myself..." she started. "Listen guys, i really want to help Zack but i just can't! I know this is hard but he must overcome it alone! Also i believe that if i was going to talk to him i'll make things even worse for all of us!" Pauline added.

The next seconds passed into complitely silence. "Pauline i'm sorry! I-I didn't know that! And you're right about Zack! I know him since we were babies, i grow up with him and it's the first time i saw him like this! And i really worried." Alex said looking Pauline into her eyes. "It's ok Alex, i understand! I would do the same for a friend! I think that we must give him some time to think! He's a smart guy and a pretty one! I'm sure he'll find an another girl!" Pauline answered. "So, are we ok now?" Ava asked. "Yeah!" "Thank God! Now, let's go for a coffee...." Ava said reliefed that they talked this out. She got up and Alex with Pauline followed. "Pauline tell me is he a good kisser?" Ava asked and with her naughty voise. Both Pauline and more Alex rolled their eyes. "The truth is that he's good but Jesse is better....." Pauline said and smiled with pride. "No, Alex is better....." Ava answered. "No, it's Jesse!" "No, it's Alex!" these quick questions and answers continue all the way to the cafeteria. Alex just hearing them and pretend that he didn't now them, he failed.

While these three were faving fun Jesse was in the hospital. With the passed of the time he remembered more and more things about everything that happend in these 10 months that he missed. He really sometimes impressed himself and the doctors. He was happy about it. "We see there Jesse you've done good job and you'll be able to leave at the 13th!" the doctor said and smiled to Jesse. Jesse smiled too and looked to his parents.

As the doctor left the room Jesse was sitting on his bed thinking. "What are you thinking about honey?" his mother asked him and with a sweet voise. "Pauline has her birthday that day..." he answered. "Then that birthday must be the best she've ever had because you're leaving the hospital!" Dorothea said and fixed the pillows for Jesse. "Yeah..." Jesse answered again and an idea came to his mind.

A few hours later Pauline, Alex and Ava were heading to Jesse's room. When they opened the door they were with their mouths open. Jesse was walking! Jon was on his right side and Dorothea on the left holding him not to fall. Jesse smiled to all of them. They walked in and their eyes were wild opened. They were all suprised of that view. "What you've never seen a man walking before?" Jesse joked. "We had but we didn't exepting you to walk right now!" Ava said as Dorothea and Jon released Jesse's hand and left alone to walk. "C-Can you walk?" Pauline as her eyes were rolled. "Do you wanna see?" he asked. Pauline nobbed. Alex and Ava went on the corners of the room and made some space for Jesse to walk. He started with baby steps as the doctor told. Looking up to Pauline's eyes who was sure excited. He went in front of her and stop there. "You see i made it!" he said and hugged her. Pauline was in the best place in the world she wanted to be, in his arms. She missed that feeling of safety when he wasn't there with him. But now all the were gone. Jesse was there with her and he was not going anywhere.

When they broke apart  Pauline gave him a smile he never had seen before. Her eyes were so bright that he never saw them before. Her cheeks were always pink and they are getting more and more as Jesse smiled back to her with the most beautiful smile she've ever seen.

Jesse walked back to his bed alone. Dorothea and Jon left the room and went home. Jesse had an idea but he couldn't make it alone. He need some help. But first Pauline must go somewhere else and he can be able to speek with Ava and Alex. "I'm going for a coffee! Do you guys need something?" Pauline asked and got up from the chair. "No, we're fine!" Alex answered. So, Pauline left the room without her mobile.

Jesse's face lighted up as Pauline closed the door behind her. "Now, guys listen to me carefully!" Jesse said. "What happend?" Ava asked suprised. "The doctor told me that i'll leave the hospital on 13th and Pauline has her birthday that day!" "Are you thinking about having a party to celebrate her birthday and your exit from the hospital?" Alex asked and catched what Jesse was talking about. "Exactly! But i have something in my mind and i need your help Ava!" he said and turned to face Ava. "My help?" "Yeah! Look i remembered how much she missed her friends and i want them to be there for her birthday! And we need to contact them and i was thinking if you can get their numbers!" Jesse explained his plan. "But how can i found her phone?" Ava wondered and looked around in the room. Her eyes stopped as she saw her mobile on  the table. "We're so fucking lucky!" she said and took the phone. "Hell yeah!" Jesse said and smiled.

Ava pouched a bottom to opened it. "Shit! It need a password!" Ava said disapointed. "Try 1308!" Jesse sugested. "No!" "0203?" "No!" "1107?" "No!" "0702?" "No!" "0710?" "No! Since when is her girlfriend?" Ava asked thinking that might be the password. "Since 13th of October!" Jesse answered. Ava tapped it and the phone unlocked. "Yeah!" Ava said and went to the contacts. "Ok, who i call?" she asked. "Call Melina!" Jesse answered. Ava pushed the call bottom and gave it to Jesse "I can't talk!" Jesse singed and took the phone.

"Hello?" Melina said "Hi, Melina!" Melina heard a male's voise and suprised. "Who are you?" "I'm Jesse Bongiovi, Pauline boyfriend! What are you doing?" Jesse asked to sound polite. "Eh i'm fine! You?" "I'm great too! Listen in a few days Pauline has her birthday and i want you to be there for the suprise party i'm organized!" "Oh Jesse! You know we live in Greece right?" "Yeah, i know that! And don't care about the airplane tickets i'll take care of that!" "Jesse i really understand what are you trying to do but i don't think our parents will let us fly across the world! And it's not right you to pay for our tickets!" "I know that you wanted to be here like she wanted! But please can you try...." Jesse said with his puppy voise. Melina singed.
