Only two days later after the amazing and unexepted night Pauline was sleeping once again to her bed. The previous night her father informed her that the school will start on the 1st of Septeber. That means she had only 5 days left to enjoy the summer. The first disesion she made was to sleeep all day.
But this is not going to last for long. The chorus of I'll Sleep When I'm Dead filled the bedroom. Pauline opened her eyes and from what she was hearing that was Melina. She picked up the phone from the nightstand and answered. "What do you want from my life Melina?" "Wow, is that how you speak to friend when she calls you?" "Yeah, when that friend wakes me up!" Pauline answered. "I'm sorry i didn't checked the watch! What time is there?" "1.30 p.m." "Are you crazy? Why are you still in bed?" "Because i have only 5 days till school!" "Haha! Anyway, conratulations about Jesse! I just saw the news you posted on facebook!" "Thanks!" "And one more thing! Why you didn't tell us?" Pauline raised an eyebrow. "Tell you what exactly?" "That you might be a member of the New Jersey volleyball team!" "I was going to text you about that today when i'll woke up but you got me there my little girl!" "You know that you're crazy right?" "Yeah, i've been told that before!" "Good! Well, i gotta leave you now i must take the dog out! See ya around miss Bongiovi!" Melina joked but in a way that was a little true. "Haha! Okay, see you later!" Pauline said and hung up the phone.
She laughed thinking that one day she might be a Bongiovi! She knew she was taking it long way far from today but dreaming is not a bad thing at all. She ckeck out the clock it was too late to wake up. Closing her eyes easily she falled asleep again.
While Pauline was sleeping Jesse on the other hand was awake. He wake up when he saw a truck coming to him and then nothing. It was defently the scene of the accident. Unable to sleep again he was wondering what he could do now at this hour. He sit up on his bed. Looking around to his bedroom nothing caught his eye exept one, the picture of him and Pauline on his nightstand. He took it in his hands. Running his fingertips to her sillouete he remembered that they're still broken up. Well, that wasn't true but he didn't asked her again. Smiling at the idea he just had he got up from his bed. He took the phone and called Ava.
Ava was sleeping and she didn't picked it up at first. "Come on Ava! Pick the damn phone! Would you?" he cursed and called again. This time Jesse was more lucky. "Morning Jess! I don't know where Pauline is! She's not here!" Ava said with just waked up voise. "Morning to you too Ava! And i know where Pauline is! I'm calling for an another thing!" "I don't know where Zack is! I haven't spoke to him since Monday!" "Is not about Zack!" "What's about?" "Look, i saw the accident scene and i woke up! After that i wasn't able to sleep and i saw the picture of Pauline and myself! But the point is since we broke up we're still broke up and i don't want this!" "We all know that! But where i fit in?" "I met her in your house, didn't i?" "Yeah!" "So, i want to call Pauline and tell her that you want to talk about something and she must come to your house tonight! It would be like the night i met her! So, what's ya think?" Ava didn't answer imediately. "What's wrong?" "You're so romantic! That's what is wrong!" Ava joked. "I'm just kidding! Okay, i'll do it! But i warn you Jesse don't screw this time! She loves you and you love her!" "I'll not screw this up! I promise!" "Good! And you'll be already here?" "Yeah! So, i gotta go now! I have some things to do first!" "Alright! I'll call Pauline and i'll text you!" "Ok! And thanks!" "It's ok! Bye!" "Bye!" Jesse said and hung up the phone.
Jesse leaft his phone to the nightstand and went to his closet. He was looking for the shirt and the jeans he wore that day. He was searching but he couldn't find them. He left the room and went downstairs. In the kitchen he found his parents. "Mum where did you put my shirt and my jeans?" Jesse asked. "Which shirt and which jeans?" Dorothea asked back. "My carreaux blue shirt and the blue jeans!" Jesse answered. "in the waching machine!" Dorothea answered and took a sip of her coffee. "WHAT? They'll be clean till tonight?" "You can wear something else!" Jon answered and Dorothea nobbed. "No, i must wear these!" Jesse yelled and sut heivy on the chair next to his father. "Why is this so important?" Jon asked without understand what was going on. "It's a very long story! And i must wear these clothes!" Jesse said. "If this is so important i'll see what i can do!" Dorothea said shaking her head. "Oh thank you mum!" Jesse said and kissed his mother's ckeek and left running to his room.
Arriving there he ckecked his phone and saw that Ava had texted him. Pauline will be there at 20.00. Sighing on relief Jesse sut on the bed. Everything went as he had planed. Now, he must relax and enjoy the rest of the day.
Only one hour before Pauline will walk in the Sambora house Jesse jumped out of the shouwer. Walking back to his room he opened the door and saw on the bed the clothes he had asked in the morning all clean and ready to be wear. Smiling he put the clothes on. Once the clothes were on there is only one thing that was missing the purfume. Looking around for his perfume he realised was finished. Cursing he left his room. Walking to the hallway he stoped at the closed door. He knocked and entered. Walking in he found his dad sitting on the bed full of papers with a pen on his hand. "Hey dad! I'm sorry for interapte you my perfume just finished and can i put some of yours?" Jesse asked politely. "Sure, son! It's on the bathroom!" Jon answered and looked down to the papers. Jesse walked to the bathroom and put some of his dad's perfume. Closing the door of the bathroom he asked his dad. "Working on a new song already?" "Is not a song yet but i hope one will be!" "I'm sure is gonna be great! If you need any help call me!" Jon laughed a little. "Oh okay young lover!" "That's me!" "Are you going out with Pauline?" "Yep, is a big night!" "I can SMELL that!" Jon joked. "Anyway, i gotta leave now! See you later....." Jesse said and walked to the door. "Have a good night! Kiss Pauline for me!" Jon answered as Jesse had already left the room. That's for sure dad! he told to himself when he heard his dad's answer.
Several minutes later Jesse had already arrived to the Sambora house. Ava opened the door and both headed to the kitchen where Jesse explained her what his little plan was. Ava was willing to help Jesse. She found it very sweet of him and she knew Pauline is gonna loved it.
When the door bell rung Jesse runned up the stairs while Ava went to answer the door. Opening the door she saw Pauline not in a good mood. "Hey!" Pauline said first with low voise. "Are you okay?" Ava asked without knowing why Pauline was like that. Ava closed the door and both girls walked to the living room. "How was your trainning?" "Good!" she simply said. "Why don't we go out in the pool to have some 'girls' time? I'll bring some drinks!" "Okay, that sounds good!" Pauline answered and walked to the pool. "Do you want me to help you?" Pauline yelled. "No, i'm fine!" Ava yelled back from the kitchen.
Pauline went to her favourite spot in the pool. The place she was sitting at Ava's party. Looking up in the sky and let the summer breeze go all over here. Moments like these she wanted a pair of strong arms to hold her tight. Sighing and feeling bad the Jesse didn't text her for the last two days. She was trying to hide it but she knew he was busy with the trainnings in the Notre Dame. She couldn't blame him because the tour will start again the next week and Jon needed to spent some time with his family before he head the stages again.
Jesse stoped walking when she saw her. She was wearing a pair of tight Levi's one of his favourites. She took his breath away just like the first time he saw her. The white tank top was contrasting the black of the sky. Her hair were down. Hell, he couldn't wait to run his fingers to her long brown hair. This is it. He couldn't wait any longer.
With big and silent steps he came closer to her. He remembered the words he said to her and he was going to told them again but this time his full name. "Hello! I'm Jesse James Louis Bongiovi!" Pauline turned quickly before he finished the sentesne. Her eyes were shining but she looked suprised in the same time. "Jesse? What are you doing here? Where is Ava?" "I'm trying to make the things right! I know that i made mistakes..... horrible ones! I know that i love you and i will not be able to love anyone else in my life like i love you! I'm here to ask you if you want if you want to be girlfriend again! And i promise you if i hurt you again in my whole life you have the right to leave me and never come back!" Jesse said looking her in the eyes. She still has the suprised look on her face. When Jesse finished what he said she felt her heart sink. That brought tears in her eyes. She hugged him tight. When they broke aprt their lips met for a kiss. "I'll take that as a yes!" Jesse said when they broke apart. Pauline laughed.
Walking together the corner of the garden. Pauline was looking the August full moon. This moment couldn't get any romantic."Is right here when boy meets girl with our backs against the world. You and me thick as thieves!" Jesse whispered to her ear. Felling his warm breath so close made her shuddered. Recognizing the lyrics of one the romantiest songs of the new album she felt like she was melting like a butter in his arms. "If i robbed a bank..." she started. Oh babe do you want to play the lyric game huh? Jesse told to himself and smiled. "You wouldn't care you come and sit on my lap in the electric chair...." he answered. Now, i'm really suprised! Do you want to play Bongiovi? So, let's play Pauline thought naughty and answered "And when they'll flip the switch we just....." Their lips met again but this time with more passion. They both let each other to go for it. Their eyes were black of desire. It's been a long time since they kissed each other like that. Breaking apart breathless they finished saying "Kiss!"
With backround the full moon and a sky full of stars their relationship start again from where it begun. They both knew deep inside their hearts that this is where they belong. After a crazy summer full of emotions and lot of crying finaly it comes to an end. They're not going to forget what happend in addition will try to fix the mistakes they both made. Thanking God that they're ALL safe and sound they can now start all over again their livies together.
