Chapter 16: Always Run To You

The next day Pauline worked the morning sift and she has all the afteroon for her. After she ate lunch her family and her watched together a movie. When the movie was finished Pauline went to her room. Closing the door behind her her eyes went to the guitar which is screaming to be played.

Pauline smiled and took the guitar in her lap. Sitting on the bed she run her fingers to the chords and strings of it. It's been long since the last time she played. She needed after all that happend. Feeling the power of the music go all over her. It was a spesial feeling.

Playing a little more her phone start buzzing. She singed as she knew that wouldn't last forever. She put the guitar away. She raised an eyebrow when she saw Jon's number. "Hello?" "Hey Angel, it's Jon! What ya doing?" "I was playing with Dereck!" "Who's Dereck?" "My guitar....." "You call your guitar Dereck?" Jon asked really suprised. "Yeah, the classic one! I call the electric Jerry!" "I'm impresed! But let's get to the point! I was thinking about the running you said yesterday..... can you come over the house for a little run? I hate running alone! Jesse used to run with me sometimes!" "E.... O.... Yeah, i can do that.... i'll be right here...." Pauline said with a suprised voise. "Great! So see you in a few!" Jon said and hung up the phone.

Pauline hung the her phone too. "Wow now i'm going to run with JON BON JOVI? OH MY GOD!!!!!" Pauline couldn't believe it. When he told that yesterday she thought that he was joking. But who cares? She run throught the closet and put her training shorts on. She changed a grey t-shirt to wear. Hair were un in a ponytail. Mobile on the pocket, sunglasses on the eyes and ready to go.

Arriving at the carPauline put on the radio the Lost Highway album. Singing and dancing in all the route she pulled to the Bongiovi's house driveway. Parking the car she saw a man standing there. "Who the fuck is he?" she wondered and gave a closer look. "Oh that's Jon!" she said ans signed of relief. She opened the door car and closed it. After locking the car Pauline walked straight to Jon.

Jon was wearing a hat and sunglasses as usual. "Hey Jon!" she said when she got next to him. "How did you know it was me? Dorothea thought that i was thieve or something!" "Well, at first i thought the same but with a closer look i understand it was you! Every fan can recognize you..." "Anyway! Are you ready?" Jon said and clapped his hands. "You're scearring me but i'm ready! And don't run in top speed! I promised to your wife i'll bring you back.... every part!" Pauline said and Jon laughed. "Come on let's get started....." Jon said and start. While Pauline stand there "This will be a loooong run....." Pauline said shake her head. Jon had already gone. "Hey what the fuck? What has this man on his legs? Rockets?" she wondered and start run to caught him "HEY WAIT!!!" she yelled and Jon stoped.

When Pauline found him " You said you were ready?" Jon asked while Pauline was taking deep breaths to calm her heartbeat. "Rule number 1: Don't you ever do that again! Rule numner 2: I'm a student not a marathon runner!" Pauline finished. "Ok, ok! Now can we start?" "Sure lead the way!" Pauline said and both start running.

They run almost a mile and stop to catch their breaths. "You run really fast! I tried that onhe day with my dad and on half a mile he stoped!" "It's the first time i go for a run.." "I know! This is one of the things i admire you the most! You keep yourself in a really good condition!" Pauline said with a proud voise following by a proud smile. "Thanks, Angel! I'm doing my best!" Jon said even prouder.

The I'll Sleep When I'm Dead intro came from Pauline's pocket. Pauline knew it was Melina but she doesn't knew what she wanted this time. Picking up the phone she said "Hey girl? What are you doing up this time?" Pauline said with a little teased voise. From th other line she heard a whimper. "Melina are you ok?" Pauline said sceared. "Melina answer to me! What the fuck happend?" Pauline asked again with raised voise. "George cheatted on me...." Melina said while she was crying. "Come on Melo... you have any proof?" Pauline said thinking that Melina is guessing that like the previous time. "Yeah, i have..... i saw them kissing with passion in the park and then they left hand in hand!" Melina said but the in the same time she was crying. "That son of a bitch! I'm gonna kill this motherfucker..... i'm gonna cut his penis and i'll give it to eat it! ASSHOLE!" Pauline yelled and forgot that Jon was standing right there next to her. "And sorry Jon!" she said with her nornmal voise. Jon just nobbed it's ok. "Is Jon there?" Melina asked. "Yeah, but just for once Jon is not the point! Look that bustard doesn't deserve to be with you! He had already fucked this up more that once! It's not fair to spend your tears on him...." Pauline said sweet and make Melina calm down a little.
"But i loved him...." Melina tried to say. "After all that he've done to you, you loved him? Tell him to have a nice day and we're done! Remember what happend to me with Andreas?" she asked. "Yeah, i remember... very well! And you know what? You're right! How you do that?" Melina asked. "Do what exactly?" "Help me! When no one else can!" "I don't know! It's a Dirty Little Secret!" Pauline answered and laughed along with Jon. "Ok, enought with the Jovi songs for today! Oh, and i'm so happy about you and Jesse! And after my little research he's so beautiful..." Melina said and smiled. "Thanks but he's MINE!" Pauline said because she had took it seriously but Melina was kidding. "I'm just kidding miss Bongiovi!" Melina teased again. "Hey, i'm not! At least not yet!" "Anyway thanks again for today!" "That's what friends do!" Pauline answered and smiled. "We miss you girl!" Melina said with a sad voise. "I miss you too!" Pauline answered sad again. Some seconds of cilence followed. "I gotta leave you now Melina! Say hi to the girls from me!" Pauline said quickly. "Sure! Bye!" Melina said and hung up the phone the same time with Pauline.

Pauline singed heivy as she put the phone back in the pocket. Jon looked at her and singed too. "You must miss them!" "You can imagine how much! I will give anything to be right here with me..." Pauline said and looked down to her feet. She didn't think about it for more because she knew that this will let her down and she didn't want it. "Ready for one more?" she asked. "Nah, it's getting late! I think we should go back to the house!" Jon suggested and looked up in the sky. "Yeah, you're right let's go..." Pauline said and took the lead leaving Jon behind.

About an hour later Pauline was showering in her house. With the cold water they are going away also the pain and the loneliness she was feeling. She from the first day she was going to miss them  but it was going harder and harder with everyday that is passes.

She wanted to be there to hung out and talk about everything. Skipping classes just because they like it. To play volleyball all together again. She wanted to be there for Melina for her breakup.

But also she wanted them to be here in New Jersey. To spend the nights together. She was sure that they are gonna love Ava, Alex and even Zack. She wanted them here to meet Jesse and to go out all together as friends and couples.

She singed and clossed her eyes. Jumpi9ng out of the shower and wore her pijamas. She fall asleep wishing her friends were there just for one hour!

Chapter 15: Your Blood Like Ice

Zack Richards

The past few days lots have changed. Jesse woke up after a three week or so coma and Pauline passed the driving tests. Althought there are some extra things that they must be done from Pauline to be clear. Zack.

The last time he saw him was when she was in hospital and told her about Jennifer. Since then Ava infromed her how he was doing.

Pauline must tell him what is doing on between him and her before is too late again. Pauline knew Zack reallhy well she knew that he couldn't give up that easy. So, Pauline must take him to his place right now. She texted him to come over her work place today without saying the main reason.

When Zack read the text he thought that Pauline might regrete what she said the other day and wanted to be with him. It was the only thing he can think right now. He opened his closet and starring at it. He must wear something nice. He choose his favourite pair of jeans and blue shirt that matches perfectly with his blue eyes. He put the clothes on his bed and jumped into the shower. He washed his short blond hair and the rest of his body. When he finished the shower and brushed his teeth and put on his favourite purfume. He weared the clothes and he looked himself to the mirror and fixed his hair.

The car keys on his hand and left his house. He parked the car in the Starbucks's parking lot aand locked it. Opening the door he saw her sitting in a table drinking a milkshake. She saw beautiful. Her hair were up in a ponytail without wearing any make-up. She was wearing a white tank top with a training shorts with her sneakers. He smiled and walk forward to her. Pauline with the corner of her eye she saw him coming. He couldn't deny he was looking very good. "Pauline focus to your target!" she said to herself and put the milkshake on the table.

Zack came in front of her and said "Hey girl!" he sut on the chair oposite to her. "You wanted to see me?" he said and put out the sunglasses on the table. "Yeah!" "So, what is this about?" "You remember the day you kissed me?" Pauline asked and face him. "How can i forget that day? To answer to your question yes i remember that day!" Zack said and a proud smile appear to his lips. "That that day Jesse saw us and went to a bar and get drunk and then had the accident!" "Oh!" he said and looked down for a moment. "I didn't see him!" he continue "But i did! Look Zack i know how you feel but the thing between us is never going to work! Take a look around you there are lots of girls that they like to you her 'boyfriend'!" "Pauline i love you! Why is this so hard for you to understand? I can imagine that someone else is holding your hand. I can't imagine that wear someone else jacket when it's cold outside. I can't imagine that someone else is kissing you like i did!" Zack said and moved closer to  Pauline for a kiss but she managed to turned. "Zack that's enough! I'm here to tell you that i love Jesse and he's the only one that i want to be with! You're a friend..... i'm sorry!" Pauline said and feel her temper was raising. "I don't understand that! This guy broke your heart once and if he did it once he'll do it again! You went to the hospital for him!" "I did all this because i love him ok? Please don't make it even worse!" Pauline said. "Ok, Pauline! But when he'll hurt you again you'll see that you're wrong about him! I want you to know that when this happend i'll be there waiting for you!" Zack said and got up and left.

She singed as she saw Zack pissed leaving. She knew that he'll react like that but she must make it clear to him. She got up a little sadder that she thought she'll be. She hated hurt the people she loved and expesialy friends. She knew that feeling sad will not change anything at least she hoped that he'll be friend after that.

Just a half an hour later Pauline was in the elevator, ging to the third floor of the hospital. Arriving at Jesse's room she knocked and walked in. The room was full of people. Jesse turned and saw her gorgeous like always. He smiled and she smiled too. "Pauline..." Romeo yelled and run to her side "Hey you big man!" she answered and kissed his cheek. "Can i play with you phone?" he asked and made his puppy face who no one can say no. "Yeah sure!" Pauline said and gave him her phone. Romeo took it and sut in the chair playing games. Jacob sut next to him and watch him play.

"Did you work today?" Dorothea asked "No, i had my day off and went for a run!" Pauline answerd. Jon's face light up as he heard run "Run? You run?" he asked "Sometimes i do and i have to keep myself fit for the turnament in October!" "We can go for a run if you want!" Jon offered. "Sure but you have to slow down a little i don't run 5 miles as you do!" "I'm an old man remember....." "Well i hope your fans give up on running easily and i don't have run all over the Jersey to save you from them....." Pauline joked and all laughed. "I think the same too!" Jon answered laughing.

The next half an hour passed really quick. Romeo and Jacob were playing with Pauline's phone. While the rest were talking about everything. Romeo got up from the chair and went to Pauline "Here it says low battery....." he said with his sweet voise and gave the phone back to her. Pauline laughed as she thought that battery was full when she came here but she did't say anything. "You spend all the batter playing games?" Jesse asked from his bed. Jacob and Romeo nobbed. "Angel the next time come without your mobile!" Jon teased. "Nah! Don't be cruel Kidd!" Pauline teased back. "Mommy i'm hungry....." Romeo said to his mother. Dorothea signed and answered "Ok, let's go!" "I'll take him! I'm hungry too...." Pauline offered. "Ok!" Dorothea answered. "Come one big man take my hand!" Pauline said and held out her hand. "And will make it i swear!" Romeo answered and took Pauline's hand. Jon and laughed soundly. "Yeah defently Jon's son!" Pauline said and shake her hand.

Pauline walked hand in hand with Romeo all the way down to the cafeteria. Arriving there Pauline bought them two sandwich. With the sandwiches in the hand they sut on a table and ate them. When sandwiches were finished they went back again.

Opening the door they saw Ava with Richie and an unknown woman. Romeo went to hug his uncle while Pauline closed the door behind her. "Oh here you are? Why don't you pick up the phone?" Ava asked a little pissed. "Well i could pick it up if Romeo and Jacob didn't play games all the time!" Pauline explained. The unknown woman was having a look at Pauline. Pauline was thinking that she might know her from somewhre and she doesn't remember her. Richie notised the eye contact between them and clear his throat. "Angel, i want you to meet Tori Adams!" Richie said and Tori held out her hand and Pauline shaked it. "I'm Pauline Timson! Nice to meet you Mrs Adams!" Pauline answered and added a smile. "It's nice to meet you too! I've heard so much about you! Richie and Ava had told me a lot about you!" Tori said to Pauline. "Ok, hold on a second! Richie and Ava told her about me? Who the fuck is her? Oh, bingo..... Richie's girlfriend! Ok, if is to meet Richie's girlfriend i'm gonna die right now! Look how he's looking at her! I can't believe that! Wee Pauline shut the fuck up you're not his daughter!" Pauline was thinking. "Really?" Pauline asked and tried to sound suprised. "Yes, you're really strong! I wish i was like you when i saw 16!" Tori joked and tried to brake the ice. Pauline laughed. "Ok guys we gotta go! See ya later...." Richie said and got up and took Tori's hand into his. "Ava are you coming?" Richie asked before he left. "No, daddy i'll stay a little longer!" Ava answered and turned to talk with Jesse and Pauline.

The three teenagers were together chatting. "Did you like her?" Ava asked as her dad closed the door. "She's nice and with a very good smile! Not like my Paul's but it's ok....." Jesse answered first and made Pauline blushed. "How about you?" Ava asked again. "I agree with Jesse! She seems to take from a first look!" Pauline answered. Ava was still thinking of it. "You don't like her?" Jesse asked. "The first time i saw her i didn't! But now is deferent! She spend more than three nights in the house! I think my dad is in love with her!" Ava said what she was thinking to her closest friends. "Well..." Pauline started. "She seems to be good for him!" Jesse compilte Pauline's setense. "At least she's not like the others! I think this is serious!" Ava said and shaked her head. "Anyway, have you seen Zack?" she asked. Pauline's heart stoped. Her breath caught. "Me? No, i haven't saw him since you visited me here!" Pauline answered and the fear was all over her face. Ava notised but she didn't want to say it. Not now. Not right here. "I'll ask Alex!" she answered. "Alex! Your boyfriend right?" Jesse asked. "You're a quick learner, don't you?" Pauline teased. "I have good good teacher...." he said and winked to Pauline.

Chapter 14: Love Me Back To Life

The next day was not that calm for everyone and mostly for Jesse. He had lots of tests with his blood and his head. But he still needed rest.

Pauline didn't leave him alone. She was waiting that moment for three weeks. She couldn't leave him and she doesn't want to leave him alone. Jesse was sleeping while Pauline was doing the same in the chair next to his bed.

Jesse woke up from a deep sleep full of energy. He looked around and saw his beautiful girlfriend sleeping. He turned his body as much as he could and staied there watching her. Her long brown hair were down in the height of shoulders. Her cheeks were red as always and her eyes closed. She was wearing her little star earings and the Heart & Danger neckless that Melina had bought her the day she left Greece.She was sleeping like an angel and Jesse didn't want to wake her up.

Pauline on the other hand was half awake. She opened her eyes and saw Jesse looking her. She sut up in the chair. "I'm sorry i didn't meant to fall asleep!" she explained to him. "It's ok!" he said and sut back. "Are you hungry?" she asked and fixed the pillows on his bed. "No!" "Do you want to do something? Or talk?" "Can we go for a walk?" he asked and made his puppy face. "I-I don't know! Let me ask the doctor!" Pauline said got up and left the room.

About 2 minutes later she came back again with a wheelchair. Jesse was so happy as Pauline was. She helped him sit in the wheelchair and the left the room.

Jesse had moved to a new room and it was little far from the elevator. As Pauline walked Jesse in the hallway everybody was looking at them and smiled. They arrived at the elevator and got down to the entrance of the hospital.

Lots of people were walking with them. Pauline drove him to the cafeteria. She knew Jesse wanted to be near to the window. Thank God that there is an empty table next to the window. Pauline left her purse on the table abd sut in a chair opposite to Jesse. Jesse notised the pack of cigarettes in her purse. She was still smocking. She was doing a very good job to stop it but with all the anxous of the job and Jesse she couldn't help herself.

"Are you smocking?" he asked. Pauline looked in the purse and answered. "As you can see! Very bad habit...." "Yeah, i know my parents smocke too!" Jesse said annoying. Jesse singed heivy. "Are you ok?" Pauline asked with a worry voise. "Yeah, i'm fine! Is just.... that i don't remember anything about you and you know everything about me!" "Oh Jesse don't worry about that!" Pauline said and cover his hand with hers. Blue eyes met brown as Pauline shuddered when she touched him.

Jesse didn't remember how they met but he could say for sure that he love her again. From the first time she walked in the room after the accident he felt a sparke. The same sparke he felt when she looked at him with her brown eyes in Ava's party. He couldn't describe it. He must fill books of what he was feeling right now. It was like she loved him back to life!

"You said before that you don't remember anything about me!" Pauline asked. "Yeah!""What to you want to know?" "Everything....." "So, let's get started!" Pauline said and start saying the story of her life to Jesse. She had never told that to anyone else, Jesse was the first.

They spend more that two hours talking. That was good for Jesse. This make him clear his mind and think better. She explained him everything with details. From the first day in shcool untill yesterday. Jesse was listening carefully. He hated the feeling not knowing. He notised how red she became when she told him about the night they met in Ava's. Their first kiss. He would give anything to taste that kiss again. He would give anything to get up from the chair and pull her in his arms. But he must wait a little or better they must wait a little.

When Pauline finished telling him her story of her life Pauline and Jesse went back to his room. Opening the door Pauline walked Jesse in and help him go back to his bed. She put the wheelchair in the corner just in the case he needed. She fixed the bed's covers and sut in the chair next to him. "I have a very good time, Paul!" Jesse said and Pauline went wild opened. Jesse thought that he said something stupid but he said automaticaly, he doesn't even think about it. "I said something wrong?" he asked with an apologized voise. "Not at all! You used to call me Paul...." she answered and gave him a beautiful smile of hers. "Wow i remembered one thing! That's awseome!" Jesse said happy. "What i told you!" Pauline said like the mothers used to say to their children when the done something bad and affects them. "Thank you!" "For what exactly?" Pauline asked with a questioning look. "For being here with me! For not leaving me after what i've done to you! For telling me all these things about you! And thank you for everything you've done for me!" Jesse said moved forword for a kiss. Pauline couldn't loose this chance. She moved too colser to him.

Both lips met for a kiss full of apologizies and passion. Pauline felt like she've been hitted by a car or something. She remembered the first time he kissed her. It was the same damn feeling. It didn't have change at all. Jesse recogized this taste. This brought him back memories of a yard with a pool and Pauline standing in the corner. Then Ava came along. He felt himself moving to this unknowed girl for him. He got closer and saw the same brown eyes that also belong the mouth he was kissing right now.

When they broke up from that kiss Jesse shake his head "Just like the first time i kissed you in the locketrooms! You didn't change a bit Paul!" Pauline laughed "Yeah! You didn't have changed a bit too...." "You know the song Love Me Back To Life?" Jesse asked "Yeah i do know that song and i love it! Very powerfull and emotional!" she answered and the lyrics came to her mind. "I feel just like right now! Like you loved me back to life!" "I feel the same too.." Pauline said. She has tryied to calm herself but she wasn't able. Their lips meet again following by a kiss ful af love and care.

Now everything was back the way it was before the accident. Jesse was fine and full in love with Pauline again. Everything was back in order. Like a single day didn't pass. This day made them bpth loved each other back to life.

Chapter 13: Welcome To Wherever You Are

As the days passed like cars in the New Jersey highway here they are in the end of July. Pauline was now more that one year in New Jersey far away from her friends. It's really amazing what can happend in one year. She met her idols and play with them. But mostly she found the love into Jesse's face.

It was the first time after the 14 months that she spend in New Jesrey and Pauline was feeling alone into this big city and no one could hepl her. No one exept her friends.

Sure she spend lots of time with Ava. And sure there is an unexplained connection between them but she just know her only for 10 months. Fith her friends back in Greece things were diferent. She grew up with them. They were in her heart no matter where they were one piece of her heart will always live in her old house, in her old neighborhood. One part of her will always go in the same school sitting in the same school desk. One part of her will always be the short, plumpy girl with the ponytails and the red cheeks. This view might left her two years ago but for some reason this view will always follow her like a curse.

It was a calm Friday night in the hospital. Jon and Dorothea never leave Jesse's side. Richie and Ava were everyday visitors so was Pauline. David and Tico didn't come this often to the hospital. Also Jon's parents and brothers were there but Pauline didn't meet them yet.

Jesse was doing much better. He wake up from the coma just yesterday. It was about time to open his blue eyes again. He had already moved to a private room of the hospital and only the people who were in the list had the access.

Dorothea was sitting in a chair beside Jesse's head while Jon was starring out of the window.

A pair of light blue eyes opened slowly. These took a look on the right side, they didn't saw anything special exept a door and a window. They turned on the left said. They saw a woman in her fifties sitting in a chair. They raised up and saw a man also in his fifties looking out of the window. They looked again to the wonam and focus on her face.

Dorothea was reading a magazine and she took a look to Jesse. The magazine hit the hard the floor when she saw the eyes of his son opened. She got up from the chair without making a sound. She sut on the bed. His eyes met his mother's and gave her a smile. Dorothea's eyes filled with tears and she took in her arms her son. When they broke apart Jesse said "Hey mommy! You miss me?" This boy has a great sence of houmor just like his father.

Jon as he heard these words turned and saw his son smiling in his mother. Eyes filled with tears once again and he moved on the other side of the bed. As Jon sut he couldn't hide his tears in front of his son. "Hey daddy!" Jesse said and smiled to his dad.

Jesse looked down to himslef and looked puzzled. "Why am i in a hospital? The last thing i remember is i was in my room playing a video game!" he said and with his hand he touched is head. "Oh my God! Is that a bandage?" he asked again more thrilled and less puzzled. Both parents were looking at each other not knowing if they must tell him the truth. So, they called a doctor.

Jon found doctor Callen in the hallway and told him what happend. Dr Callen was very happy to hear these news. He told Jon that Jesse must know what happend to him. As he had already guessed he had memory loss. And from what Jon had told him he didn't remember the past 10-11 months.

Jon walked into the room and saw his wife with his son talking. That was the best scene he've had seen since he stop tourring. Jon sut in a chair while Dorothea never leave the bed. "Jesse i'll tell you what happend to you ok?" Jon said and Jesse nobbed. "First of all we're in New Jesrey and today is the 28th day of July in 2013...." "2013? I thought is was 1st of October in 2012!" Jesse said suprised. "You had an accident with your car. You were in coma for almost a month. And that caused you memory loss!" "I-I don't remember?" Jesse said puzzled and touches his head with both hands. Dorothea took his hand into hers and said "It's Jesse! You'll remember everything in no time!" "I hope so!" "What is the last thing you remember?" Jon asked. "Ava called me and invited me to her birthday day and then Romeo came in to my room and i gave the phone to him and i continue playing GTA!" "The name Jennifer One tells you something?" Jon asked again. "Of course it does it's my girlfriend!" Jesse answered and smiled. "She was buddy! You broke up!" Jon informed his son. "We broke up why? What i did to her?" Jesse asked sure that he did something bad to her. "You didn't do anything sweetheart! She cheatted on you!" Dorothea answered. "Oh! At least i'm a single man!" he said and smiled. "I don't want to hurt your feeling but you have a girlfriend!" Jon said and shaked his head. "Really? What's her name?" "Pauline Timson!" Dorothea answered. "Oh i don't remember her! What i'm gonna do?" Jesse said with guitly voise. "It's alright honey! You'll remember her you'll have all the time you need!" Dorothea said and tried to calm him down. "Do you want to call her?" Jon asked and Jesse nobbed. Jon left the room and took his phone from his pocket and called Pauline.

On her room Pauline was talking on Skype with her friend Melina, Stefania and Amalia. She had explained them all the things between her and Jesse. "It's ok Pauline he'll be fine!" Stefania said. "I hope so! But is my fault!" Pauline said and looked at the camera. "Pauline stop that bullshit! Jon and Dorothea are suporting you! So stop say that!" Melina yelled. "But.." Pauline started but Amalia stopped her "There're no buts! Now put a smile on your gace! And i'm not gonna comment how red you were when you said that you woke up and saw Richie watching you sleeping!" Amalia said and all girls laughed. Pauline blushed again. "Stop that shit!" "Or how you react when Jon invited to spend the night in his house!" Stefania added. "You dream came true my little Jovinator!" Melina added.

Pauline's phone rung and she had the suprised all over her face. "Hey Jon is Jesse ok? WHAT? Ok i'm coming!" Pauline said and hung up the phone quickly. "What happend?" Stefania asked and saw from the camera that Pauline happy and smiling. "Jesse woke up!" Pauline said and wear her shoes. "I gotta go girls...." she turned off her laptop.

The keys of her car in her hand she closed the door of her room. As she was walking down the stairs her mother was watching TV. "Pauline where are you going?" she asked with not a happy voise. "To the hospital....." "We need to talk about something first! Have a seat.." Katerina said and turn off the TV. "Look mum i'd love to talk with you but not right now! Jon just called and told me that Jesse woke up...... i have to go!" Pauline was already in the door. Her mother stand up and said "Panagiota Timopoulou come here right now!" It was the first time her mother called her with her real name. Pauline was a nickname that her dad found it. As far for the last name when they mouved to the USA they changed it.


Pauline closed the door. She knew from the tone of her voise that this was surious. She walked baxk to where her mother was and sut next to her. Her mother sut too. "I'll get straight to the point! Your father and i want for younot to see this boy again!" Katerina said like it was an order. Pauline felt her heart sink. "What do you mean not to see him again?" "After all this that happend he broke your heart! And as parents we want to protect you.... We were patient when you spend all your day in this hospital! We didn't deny you to spend the night in Jon's house but this is over! I'm happy that he woke up. I don't want to see my little girl like that again! This boy is not for you.... you'll find an another!" Pauline was looking at her mother while she was talking. She had that passion and make every single word count. "And what if i keep seeing him?" "We bith know that this is not going to happend!" Katerina said almost laughing. "Is that what you think mother? You think that i'm gonna give up that easy? That i'm gonna see the boy that i loved with all my heart?" "He lied to you! He broke your heart!" Katerina stopped her. "Someone told me that everyone deserves one more chance! No matter what he did i'll give him that chance because i love him!" "Pauline please...." Katerina said and touched her hand. Pauline got up and went away from her. "You always wanted me to be successful right? Now see i've passed my class and got my driving licence! Happiness is not only about the degrees you! It's about love and friendship too! You have no right not to let me see Jesse!" she said and looked down to her mother.

The next seconds passed into silence. Katerina was thinking all her daughter had said to her. She was right. From what she said she really love him. She singed heivy. "Ok, Pauline! I can see that you love him! And i want my daughter to be happy. If that boy makes you happy i don't have a problem!" "Really?" Pauline asked and rolled her eyes. "Yeah, really!" Katerina said and hugged her daughter tight. "Now go! And be carefull on the road!" "I will! Thank you....."Pauline said and hugged her mother again and left her house.

As she had promised to her mother she was carefull on her way to the hospital. She was so exited about what just happend. It was a feeling that it was happening to her for the first time in her life. She wasn't sure how to descriabe it.

On the elevator she couldn't hide her smile. the other people were looking her with a wird look. She didn't care. She opened the door of the hallway and she didn't find Jon or Dorothea. It was the first time she was happy about it.

She asked a nurse where was Jesse's new room. She told her it is the room 610. She took her a little to understand that this was the day they met in Ava's party, 6th of October. She laughed at that memory. She walked a few steps and now she was standing out of his room.

Taking a deep breath she knocked. When she heard Jon's voise she opened the door and walked in. Her eyes went to the bed and found Jesse awake talking. A smile appear to her face as she closed the door behind her. Jesse's eyes never leave Pauline's. He was looking at her like it was the first time. "Hey Angel! There is something i want to tell you!" Jon said and got closer to Pauline. He whispered to her ear "He had lost his memory! And he doesn't remember you at all! the last thinh he remembers is the day that Ava invited him to her birthday party. The doctor said that he must know the truth of what happend to him. So, if he ask anything tell him the truth ok?" Pauline was listen to Jon like a stranger. When he finished he nobbed. "Come on honey let's have some coffee!" Jon said to his wife and both left the room leaving Jesse and Pauline alone.

It was an awkward moment for Pauline. She doesn't know what to say. It was becoming more anxous when Jesse was looking her like a chocolate cake. She singed and sut on the bed next to him. She looked into his blue eyes. Oh God! How much she had missed these blue eyes? "My dad told me that you're my girlfriend is that right?" Jesse broke first the silence. Pauline laughed and answered. "Yeah, that right!" "How did we meet?" Jesse asked like a 5 year old. Pauline remembered what Jon had told her. "Well, we met in Ava's party. The next day you through me your meatballs on school and we became closer friends! Then you came in a game and you asked me if i can be your girlfiend and i said yes!" Pauline explained as better as she could. "My dad also told me that i didn't told you who is my dad and we had a fight and you broke up with me!" Jesse said now with a sad voise and looked down. "That's also true but i forgive you for that...." Jesse's face lighted up as he hear these words. "Really? After what i've done to you?" "Everyone deserves one more chance!" Pauline answered him. "I'm really sorry for that! I wish i could remember that..." Jesse said feeling bad of what happend to him. "Hey you don't hate to me sorry accidents happens! And as for your memory i'm sure you'll find it in no time!" "Do you really belive that?" Jesse said while blue eyes met brown. Hell, she can get lost in his eyes. "Of course and i belive in you that's why i'm here! And i always be...." Jesse smiled.

They talked a little more. Jesse was acting like a 5 year old and Pauline was his mother. Feeling can't be descreabed from both sides. It was good that he's up from that coma. Now, with a little help and lots of rest his memory will be back and they can continue their livies together.

Chapter 12: These Open Arms

The next few days passed calmy in the hospital. Jesse was doing a little bit better but he was still in coma. His heartbeat was warking a little faster. Doctors beliave that a miracle was happening and Jesse will wake up in a week if he conitnue trying. He might hurt his head really bad but is recovering very fast because of his young age. Now the only thing they're waiting is Jesse to wake up from the coma.

Pauline on the other hand was working hard and she got paied for the first time in her life. But this didn't change anything to how she was feelling. She didn't know if someday will be able to forgive herself of what she did. She knew that they guys were suporting her but this wasn't enough. She didn't want to think if Jesse's didn't wake up what will happend. She wasn't sure if she could even look into Jon's eyes again.

She've done anything that was running from her hand. She doesn't really care about herself at this point. Sometimes she wished not to wake up what she had faint. She didn't have to deal with this pain.

Pauline has her day off. She went early in the morning in the hospital first of all. She was standing there looking over the glass Jesse. Jon had infomed her he was doing better than the other days. She opened the door and closed it behind her. She took the chair and sit beside him. Tears filled her eyes again. She hads promised to herself not to cry but she couldn't keep that promise. Jesse was the one who was telling her she was stronger than him but this was her weak spot.

She took his hand into hers. "Oh Jess! This is all my fault....." she said while she was crying. Her hot tears dropped to Jesse's hand. She looked up to his pale face. His eyes closed. His brown hair covered from a bandage. "I could never forgive myself for that! It was my fault to go out with Zack! It was my fault to react like that! It was my fault to talk to you like that after your messages! It was my fault not to let you explain! It is my fault that you're here! It's all my fault!" she said and start crying even more. His hand was between hers and her head now was in her arms.

An alarm start buzzing. Pauline sceared lifted her head. She looked at the monitor of his heartbeat. There was a horizontal like whick is flashing. Two nurses came running and then a doctor came too. They asked Pauline to leave the room. They closed the door in front of Pauline. They drew the curtains of the room. Pauline sut in the chair. Her head was in her hands. The tears never leaving her eyes. She knew that this wasn't good. What if Jesse never wake up? What if he died in front of her? What if she was the last person who spoked to him?

All these questions were torturing her mind. Their time they spend together passed like a movie in front of her eyes. She couldn't loose him now! "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" she yelled and got to her knees. Her hands were covering her face. Jon heard her screaming and got running where she was. "Pauline are you ok?" he asked and hepled her get up. With the speed of the light Pauline hugged Jon with all the power she had. She almost caught his breath. Pauline was still crying. "Pauline tell me what happend!" Jon asked her calmy. "I was there with Jesse and suddenly an alarm start buzzing. His heartbeat went to zero! A docrtor came and throught me out of the room! I'm so sceared!" Pauline said very very fast and hugged again Jon. He didn't get a word. She was always talking too fast when she's sceared. "Pauline i want you to keep calm and tell me one more time what happend!" his blue eyes met her brown which were red from crying. Pauline swallowed. "I was with Jesse when an alarm start buzzing and his heartbeat went to zero. Then a doctor came and asked me to leave the room!" Jon couldn't believe what his ears had heard right now. He understanbd how Pauline was feeling and pulled her in his arms. "It's Pauline! It's over now!" he said and hugged her close.

A several minutes later the doctor came out and told Jon he was very lucky that they came in no time overwise he would defently passed out. Jon was reliefed when he heard that but Pauline wasn't. She thought that this was sight to leave them alone and that was she was going to do.

For the next few days Pauline was tying to avoid them. She knew that this wasn't easy but she must try it. While everyone could feel her absence they thought that she just wanted to rest for a little while. They were adults, this thought wasn't even close to what was happening. But Ava got from the first time. 

She couldn't blame her. If she was in her shoes will propably thinking and acting in the same way. Her heart was breaking too watching Jesse in a hospital room. In some way could understand how this must be feel like. Jon told her how Pauline did when he came in the hospital. She couldn't hide how sad this made her feel for both Pauline and Jesse. She must have a talk with her as soon as possible.

Ava was waiting outside of Pauline's house over an hour ago. She knew that some time she'll go out but she didn't know when. She singed and looked up to the sun that it was about to say goodbye and the sky will welcome the moon. She check one more time her phone the hour was 20.37pm. She got bored of waiting and she decided to left. She walked a few steps when she heard the door of the Timson house to open. She turned and saw Pauline walking on the other side of the road. "Hey Pauline wait!" she yelled and start running to her side. 

Pauline as she heard yelling her name and saw Ava caming froze. She knew this moment will come but she wasn't ready. So she start running too to avoid Ava. Ava saw her that she was running too and she raised her speed. Ava knew that Pauline was an athlet and she was running very fast but she's a Sambora and she never give up. 

Pauline continue running and looked back to Ava who doesn't give up. A feet away Pauline got out of breath so was Ava. When their breaths were back to normal Ava said "What the fuck you think you're doing?" "I'm noy doing anything!" Pauline said and tried to walk away but Ava's hand stopped her. "Why are you avoiding us?" "I'm not avoiding anyone!" Pauline said and Ava let her hand free. "That's bullshit Pauline you know that!" Pauline didn't answer. "Tell me have we done something wrong? Something that you don't like?" "No." "So, why are you fucking avoiding us?" Pauline looked to Ava's blue eyes, she was waiting an answer. Pauline signed. "Look Ava is better that way! It's better to stay away from you and from all." Pauline said and walked a few steps. Ava was standing there trying to solve her puzzle. "Pauline wait!" she said and walked next to her. "Why?" she asked with a voise full of pain. "Don't you get it Ava? I hurt the people i love! First is Jesse and because i don't you to be the next of my list i'll stay away from you!" "Pauline what are you talking about? If weren't you they couldn't find a blood donor! Have you ever thought of that?" "This is not that point! Jesse almost died in front of my eyes!" she paused to signed and she continue "Look, if you think about it is better for all of us!" "No, is not! Now stop that bullshit, please!" "Ava is not bullshit, is the truth and you have accept it! I already did, is your turn now!" "You're wrong Pauline! We all love you and we don't want to loosed because of a fucking mistake...." "A fucking mistake that might cost Jesse's life! And if Jesse die.... i'll die too!" Pauline said and start walking with quick big steps. "Accidents happend Pauline every single day. We all know that this is not your fault or Jesse's! Is just happend. Jesse used to say that you're stronger than him and he's right.... you're! You're the strongest person i've even met and really is my pleasure that i can call you a friend of mine!" Ava words touched Pauline hard and she stoped as she heard them coming out of Ava's mouth. Pauline slowly turned and saw her with her arms opened. "These open arms will wait for you....." Ava said sweet and she was waiting for her to come. Pauline couldn't say no to that. She came to her side and hugged her. "See the Jovi lyrics always work!" Ava said and laughed. "Smartass!" "Now, let's go to eat i'm hungry!" Ava said lead the way to the center of the small twon where was their favourite pizzeria. "But Ava you're always hungry!" Pauline complained. "I'm a Sambora! How can you forget that?" "Yeah, how can i?" Pauline said and laughed along with Ava.

They spend the night eatting pizza. They both needed this little break. Ava saw Pauline smiling again after a long time. The Pauline she met and knew was back! And she'll do anything keep her like the way it is right now.

Chapter 11: Pictures Of You

They all got in the cars. The boys went with Dorothea while Jon went with Pauline. Almost halfaway from the hospital Pauline looked to the sight of the gas tank and said "Oh shit!" "What's wrong Angel?" Jon asked. "I have to stop to put some gas on!" "Ok! There's one near to the hospital!" Jon answered and continue starring out of the window.

Pulling to the gas store Pauline stopped the car and a guy came "Full the gas tank please!" Pauline said politely. The guy looked to the passenger seat and said "Oh my God! You're Jon Bon Jovi!" he said exited and went to Jon's side. "It's nice to meet you sir!" the guy said and shaked hands with Jon. "It's nice to meet you too....John!"he said looking to the label on his t-shirt. John looked to the driver's seat and looked supriced. "Wait a minute! You're not his daughter!" he said pointing with his finger Pauline. "I know that!" she answered. "You've kidnapped him?" he yelled. Jon was about to say something but Pauline was faster. "You think if i wanted to kidnapp him i'll have him in the front seat?" she asked with raised but in the same time calm voise. John thought about it. She was right. "Yeah, you're right girl! You said me to full it huh?" "Yes, please!" she said and signed on relief.

Pauline after the gas tank was full she drove away. "That guy was crazy don't you think?" Jon asked. "A little bit!" "You're always that calm?" "I'm that calm since my 15th birthday!" she answered and smiled at him. "Yeah, i can see that!" Jon replied while Pauline parked the car into the hospital's parking lot.

Both Pauline and Jon walked into the hospital. They went to the third floor and found them all together. Also David had brought two of his three kids, Colton and Gabrielle. They were also Richie with Ava. On the sound of the door Colton turned his head and saw his uncle with Pauline. He looked really shocked and his sister told him. "Watch out there! If you do something stupid Dad will kick your ass!" "Come on! I promose i would not do anything! Jesse is my buddy!" Colton said with his inoccent voise. "I'll have my eye on you!" she told him with a killing look.

"Sorry guys for the delay! We stoped for some gas!" Jon apologised. "Well, actualy is the guy's on the gas store fault!" Pauline added. Everybody raised an eyebrow. "Long story!" Jon said and sut in the chair next to Dorothea. "Angel come here!" David said and Pauline went to him. "What's up Joker?" she asked him. "I want you to meet my twins, Colton and Gabrielle!" Pauline shaked her hands first with Colton and then with Gabrielle. "It's nice to meet you!" Pauline said and smiled. "The pleasure is all mine!" Colton said with a naught smile. "So, you're Pauline! Jesse was talking all day long about you!" Gabrielle said and they sut. Pauline heard that for the second time. She start to feel guilty for that. But this wasn't the time or the place to think about it. "Really?" "Actually Jesse told me first that he's in love with you on Uncle Tico's birthday!" Colton said "And he described you perfectly!" Colton added with a smile. Pauline blushed.

They keep talking for a long time. Colton was very funny just like his dad. Gabrielle was a tipical girl and someone who can keep you very good company. While they were talking Pauline felt her phone buzzing. She pulled out of the pocket and looked to the ID. It was Maria. Something was telling her that wasn't for good. "Hey you girl!" Pauline started. "Pauline you have lost some weight?" "Yeah! But where did you saw me? I haven't post a photo one month ago!" "I want you to keep calm! You're in all the Bon Jovi's pages in Facebook, Twitter and all over the internet!" "WHAT TO DO MEAN I'M ALL OVER THE INTERNET?" she said with raised voise and grabbed their attetion from all. "There is a picture of you and Jon walking together. You wear blue jeans and a white t-shirt and Jon wears blue jeans too with a purlpe t-shirt!" "Oh shit! We're wearing that today!" Pauline said in shocked. "And there's something more! There is a title that said 'Who is this mysterious girl with Jon Bon Jovi?'" "Oh shit! These fucking paparazies!" "Well at least they all guess right!" "What do mean?" "They thought that you're Jesse's girlfriend!" "Well, that's right! I was, i'm and i will....always!" Pauline said and looked down to the floor. "Thanks again Maria! I'll call you later!" she said and hung up the phone and put it back to the pocket.

Everyone was closer to Pauline and Richie asked "Everything ok Angel?" "I have some news!" "Tell us!"Ava said. "Well, someone took a picture of me and Jon and now i'm in all Jovi pages! Well-known like mysterious girl or better like Jesse's girlfriend!" Pauline explained them. "Oh shit! Pauline i'm sorry i didn't mean that!" Jon said feeling guilty of that picture. "It's ok! At least i was wearing me favourite jeans!" Pauline said calmy and laughed. "Do you know that your parents can take me to the court of that?" Jon asked with his surious look. He wasn't kidding. "If they do i'll be an orphan! See and the good side they know who i am!" "They know your name?" Richie asked. "Not, yet! Bu they guessed right... i'm Jesse's girlfriend!" Pauline answered and put a very big smile on her face.

The next day was calm like almost all the others. Jesse was still in coma and that make his parents worry even more. It's been more that three weeks in coma and his codition hasn't change at all. Every minute that passed was very critical for Jesse and his life. His heartbeat was becoming lower and lower as the days passed. That wasn't a good mark as the doctor said to Jon and Dorothea. He must hurt his head really bad and if he wokes up memory loss was for sure. They all praying the God for a mericle to happend. Doctors were very disapointed. It was hard to belive that he's that young and he doesn't woke up yet.

While everyone was parying for a maricle for Jesse Pauline was praying for one more. She was waiting to announce when she can take her finaly test to get the driver licence. It was hard for her to study. Her body might be in the room but her mind was in hospital. In the same time she must worry for two things.

She was in the hospital when her mother called and told her that when her finaly test was. Who was on the phone?" Jon asked. He was the only one left. "My mom! I'm writting my final test on 11th of July!" she said to Jon. Then she re-thought it. "Oh my God Jon?" she said in shocked. Jon sceared "What is it?" "Richie!" "Richie what?" "Richie has his birthday in 2 days!" "Oh! I've complitly forgot it! It's a good fact that you're a fan!" Jon joked. "Maybe yes and maybe no! I feel very anxous!" "Because of his birthday?" "No, because when i'm done with the test they'll announce if i passed or failed!" "Don't worry! I'm sure you'll pass the test!" "Me too! Or i'm gonna need a miracle cause is all on the line..." Jon laughed as he recognise the lyrics of one of his songs. "You're full of suprises!" "Always!" Jon laughed again. "You're crazy!" "Amen!" "Ok, stop it now!" "Wow, you sound like my mom....that explains a lot!" Jon raised an eyebrow and asked "What do you mean?" "My mom was born in the second of March too but not in 1962! Hell, not even my dad was born in 1962!" "Wow! You like someone older than you father?" "I guess! Why people always ask me this? Is it so weird?" "Well, it is! I mean you're a teenager and teenagers like the new music not the old!" "So, i'm deferent! And not only me...." Pauline answered. After a few minutes of silence Pauline got up from the chair and said "You know that i love your company and i want to stay here like crazy but i have to go home!" "It's ok! You don;t have to come over the next 2 days stay home and study! You must pass this! It's important!" "Are you sure?" "Go ahead!" "Ok! If anything happend call me! At any time..." "Ok! Bye!" "Bye!" she said and left Jon alone.

Arriving at home she took a shower. She lyied to bed early. She must wake up in the morning to study. With what happend to Jesse it was hard for her to study and she had lost lots of the classes. As she said to Jon she wanted to stay in the hospital to be near with Jesse but she must study too. She kmew that if anything happend she'll let her know.

Two days later.....

Pauline parked the car in the parking lot. She took a little bag with her and locked the car. Walking in the hospital she went where the elevator was. She puched the 3 bottom and she waiting the doors to open. She arrived to the third floor. She turned right when she waled out of the elevator. She saw a large group of people standing behind the closed door. The smile couldn't leave her lips. She opened the door. She could hear laughter. She walked with pride and a smile. "Hey look who is here!" David said and pointed Pauline with his hand. Pauline came closer to them. "You pass it?" Jon said and he went next to her. "I have bad news! I don't want to let you down but....." she started and put her hand into her pocket and she slowly put out her driving licence "But you have to be careful on the road because from now on i'm an official driver of New Jersey!" she almost yelled. Then tons of hugs and kissed followed. When Richie's turn came "Hey you birthday boy!" she said and hugged him "Happy birthday!" When they broke apart Richie said "Thanks Angel!" "I have something for you...." she said and gave him the little bag that brought from the car. "Oh Pauline would have bought my a gift!" "Yes, i have too! It was very difult to find the right present! At first i thought a guitar will be nice. But you have more than 100 and i don't have the money to bought you a guitar! So, i thought something more usefull! I hope you like it!" she said gave him a smile. Richie put out from the bag a little box. He opened it and a purple mug came out. It was beautiful. Instead of a tipical handle it has an electric guitar as a handle. Also the mug was decorated with white notes. Richie loved it. "Oh Angel! Thanks fro the mug! I love it..... And i think i'm gonna use it from today because yesterday i broke my mug!" "Really? This is what i call the right timing!"Pauline answered and hugged one more time Richie.

A few hours later David and Tico had left to the hospital so did Dorothea. Pauline with Ava were chatting when Pauline's phone rung. Checking the ID she raised an eyebrow, it was her friend Melina. "Hey Melina! What happend since yesterday?" "You're on the net! That was what happend!" "Oh you mean me with Jon?" "No, i mean you playing the guitar on stage and Ava singing!" Melina alomost yelled from the other line of the phone. "Wow! Wait a minute you're in a picture with Jon?" she asked again when she re-thought it. "Yeah, but i thought you've seen me!" "No, i didn't! But this is not the point! Today i joined facebook and i saw i video of you and Ava playing and singing! It also said that you're the mysterious girl with Jon!" "Well, that's true! But who is this motherfucker who put it on the internet?" "Is not only in the internet, is in Youtube! It has plus than 1.000 views!" "Oh shit! We're screw it!" "Oh and by the way Richie has his birthday today huh?" "Yeah!" "Tell to your old man happy birthday from me!" "Shut up Melina!" Pauline said with raised voise and Melina had to laught. She knew the way to pissed her off even when she's a million miles away. "Ok, i gotta go if anything happens i'll call you! Bye!" she said a few secons later "Bye!" Pauline answered and hung up the phone.

She put it pack to the pocket when Ava was looking at her with a weird look "What?" Pauline asked. "You have something to tell me?" Ava said and crossed her arms waiting for Pauline to answer. Pauline got busted. "Melina called! She told that we're in Youtube!" "Youtube huh? Doing what?" "Singing!" "What?" Ava said suprised. From the other side of the hallway Richie came running. "Ava Elizabeth! How many times i have to tell you that you're in damn hospital?" Richie said with his angry voise. "I'm sorry dad! But Pauline told me that we're on Youtube!" Ava apologised. "It was the final consert in June! It's our full set, all the songs! The video has more than 1.000 views! And i'm the mysterious girl with Jon!" Pauline added. "Who told you that?" "My friend Melina! And she wishes you happy birthday!" Pauline answered. "Oh, she's a fan too?" "I don't think so! She just know your birthday, Ava's, the dates of your albums when they came out, when you start playing the guitar, when and where you got married, when you divorsed, favourite food, colour! See i told you she's not a fan!" Pauline said laughing. "If she's not a fan and know all this if she was a fan what she must knew?" Richie asked. "You don't want to know what fans know about their favourite member!" Pauline said with a weird look on her face. "Ok, ok!" was the only thing Richie couldn't say. He left the girls alone and joined Jon.

A few hours later Pauline, ava and Richie left the hospital and left Jon to stay for the night. Pauline as she was driving back home all her memories with Jesse was passing throught her mind like a movie. Their first look. Their first kiss in the locket-rooms. Their first slow dance in the club. The first time she felt asleep in his arms. His purfume. His smile.

She couldn't believe he was still in a coma. And in some way it was her fault. If she didn't accept to go with Zack. If she didn't let him kissed her. If she didn't met him things will be deferent from everyone. And Jesse wouldn't lying in a bed fighting for his life. Pauline thought that she was hearting the people she loved. First is Jesse. Who'll be the next? She must stay away from them for their good.

Chapter 10: Sleeping With A Bongiovi

After that day Jennifer visited the hospital Pauline didn't came to the hospital anymore. That make sure she wasn't kidding. She meaning every word she said to Jon. It's been over a week. She learned new for Jesse from the internet. Every Bon Jovi page was talking about it. Ever her friends from Greece called her and said about Jesse.

But Pauline didn't tell them that she was the only to blame for that accident. She was feeling that way. She thought that Jennifer was right. She must stay away from them for their good. She had already took her decision not to visit the hospital unless when Jesse wake up from the come.

No one had bother her for a week or so. They let her think the things. But Ava couldn't wait anymore. She may promised to her father not to call her. But she knew her better than anyone. She knew how she must feeling. She took her phone and called her.

Pauline was in her room when her phone rung. Checking the ID she saw Ava's picture and number. She thought that something happend to Jesse and pick it up. "Hey Pauline! How are you?" Ava asked. "Good! You?" "Fine!" The next seconds passed into silence. Both didn't know what to say untill Ava broke the silence. "Are you going to the hospital today?" she asked the question that she called her. "I don't think so! And i don't think i'll go there again!" "Pauline leave your stuburness behind and go! They need you here! Jesse is going from bad to worse! They almost lost him twice since you left!" Ava said the truth to her. "What?" Pauline said and she felt like she lost the ground of her feet. "Pauline you know that Jennifer is a bitch and a big one! Don't let go throught you and Jesse! Don't do it for me or anyone else! Do it for Jesse! He needs you here with him...." Ava said as she was fight hard not to let the tears fall from her eyes. "Ok Ava! I'll go and you're right! Thank you!" she said and hung up the phone before could answer.

Back to the hospital Dorothea just had a phone call from her daughter and must leave for the house. She took the carkeys from Jon and drive home and left Jon with Richie alone.

Jon was sitting in a chair his hands on his head. Richie knew him for 30 years and he never saw him like this before. "Don't worry man! Is gonna make it! Is a strong kid like his father...." Richie said and sit there next to him. "And what if he doesn't?" "Jon shut up! You Jesse will wake up!" Richie tried to make him believe he will. "I don't know Rich! It's more than two weeks in coma! Even the doctors don't know if he'll wake up!" "Come on Kidd! Don't think like that! Think positive.... He'll wake up! You'll see!" Richie tried again. He knew how stuborn Jon was. "If he doesn't i'm not sure if would be able to join the band! I want you to promise me right now that if.." Jon started and tried to hold back his tears "If Jesse didn't make it i want you to promise mr that you'll take the contor of the band!" Richie was sceared he never heard Jon talk like that. He can understand his pain. "Jon, we both know that this would not happend! You're the Boss! You're the Captain! Is you nickname after all! Now put a good smile of yours in your face because Jesse is gonna make it! You heard me?" he said with a little raised voise to make him understand this. Jon hugged him tight. He was his brother.

That's how Pauline found them. Jon saw her opening the door and left Richie and got up. "Pauline!" he said. "Hi!" "I thought that you would not come back!" "Well, you think wrong and here i am!" she answered to Jon's question. Richie's phone rung. He talked a little and then he hung up and said "I'm sorry but i gotta go back home!" "Everything ok?" Jon asked a little worried. "Yeah just fine!" he answered and left "Good night angel!" "Good night Richie!" Pauline answered. Now it was Jon and Pauline one more time alone.

They both sut on the chairs outside of Jesse's room. "Jon i want to say sorry about the other day! I should had staued and talk this out!" "You don't have to be sorry! In addition it was really cool! You were about to kill her!" "Really? That bad?" "I was really sceared! The things you said about cheating how do you know?" "Jon let me have my dirty little secrets!" he laughed "Ok, then angel!" Jon's phone was buzzing in his pocket. he pick it up. "Hey Dottie everything ok? What? What do you mean they will not go to their bed till i come back? Ok, ok tell them i'm on my way!" he said and hung up. He got up. "Everything ok?" "Yeah, Jake wants me back to the house right now! I'm sorry but i gotta go!" Jon said and start searching his pockets for the keys. "Oh shit! I gave the keys to Dorothea! I gotta get a taxi!" "You don't have to get a taxi! I have a car remember?" Pauline said and got up too. "Look Pauline i really apreciat what are you doing but i'll get a taxi!" "No way! I'll drive you home! Now walk!" Pauline ordered and Jon walked to the door.

Arriving at the parking lot Pauline unlocked the car and both get in. "Put your seatbelt please!" she said as she put the machine forword. "I hope you don't drive fast!" Jon asked as he wear his seatbelt. "When i'm alone i drive like i play GTA! But today i'll drive carefully beacuse you're in the car too! I hope you're not afraid of speed?" Pauline looked at him with a weird look. "You're scearing me angel!" "I'm just kidding!" she said and left the parking lot.

With Jon's instructions they pulled to the Bongiovi house driveway. It might be night but Pauline could see every detail of Jon's house. It was much biger than she saw it on TV. She has that amazed look on her face like everyone else. Pauline stoped the car. "Here you go! Give Romeo and Jake a big hug from me!" "Why don't you come over and say hello?" Jon asked as he put away his seatbelt. "Me? In your house? have you lost your mind?" she asked thrilled. "Why not?" "I'm a fan remember?" Jon laughed and said "Oh angel! You must know that i showed my house last year! Plus, if Romeo will know that you drove me here he'll kill me if he doesn't see you! So, move your money maker and go!" Jon explained and opened the door and get out of the car. Pauline was in the driver's seat. Does she heard right? Jon Bon Jovi invited her to his house? She shoked her head and got out of the car. She locked it and followed Jon to the main door.

It was just like she had saw it in the internet. The most beautiful house she had ever seen. No wonder why fans call it caslte. Jon put from his pocket the keys and opened the door. "Welcome angel!" he said and let Pauline walked in first and she followed her. Pauline rolled her eyes as she walked in. The floor was shining. "Hey guys i'm home!" Jon yelled and then from the end of the hallway Romeo came running. Jon was on his knees in order to hug his son but he passed him by and went and hugged Pauline. "My big man!" she said "Are you going to spend the night with us?" he asked and made his puppy face which it was hard to say no. "I'm sorry Romy! I just drove your dad home and now i'm going back to my house!" she answered him. "Pauline you gotta see this!" Romeo said and grabbed her hand and leaded her to the big living room. Where Dorothea and Jacod were. "Hey Pauline do you want to play with me?" Jacob asked as she saw her. "Sure!" she answered.

After saying hello to Dorothea Pauline got to her kneens and was playing with Jocob. While Jon have already joined them to the living room and was talkingh with his wife. Pauline's phone rung. The intro of If I Was Your Mother was heard by everyone. "Hey sweetie! Where are you?" her mum asked. "I just drove Jon home! In a few minutes i'll be home!" Pauline answered. Jon checked his watch. the time was 21.27. It was late. Plus is was dark putside and Pauline doesn't knew the route back home. He waved to Pauline and she gave him her phone. "Hey Katerina is Jon! How are you?" "Good! You?" "I'm fine too! Look is really late and i can't let Pauline come back to her house! So, if you don't mind she can spend here the night with us and tommorow morning she'll be at home!" "Jon, i appreciate that offer! But it's no need to get into that truble!" "It's no truble! The boys loved her and they loved if she stay with them this night!" "Sure its not a truble?" Katerina asked again. "Don't make me say this twice! Pauline will stay here! Now tell Kostas and Zeta a hi from me and good night!" he said and before Katerina could answered he hung up the phone and pass it to Pauline. Who was in copmletely shock. "Angel you ok?" he asked. "Yeah! Fine!" she tried to hide how exited she was. "Good! Now Jake what do you want for dinner?" Jon asked his son. "Pizza!" he answered and he continue playing with Pauline.

Dorothea ordered pizzas and she was suprised that Pauline was eatting the same pizza with Jesse. She really liked Pauline from the first time she saw her she thought that would be perfect for Jesse and she saw right. Jon with Dorothea were talking and Pauline with Jacob were playing with his castle. Everything was so quite when Romeo came running to the living room holding a little notebook. "Pauline can i ask you something?" he asked and he took the pencil and sut next to her. "Sure!" "When you were born?" Pauline laughed at his question. "I was born on the 13th of August in 1997!" Romeo smiled and write it down. "Where did you were born?" "In Athens, Greece!" she answered with a proud smile and Romeo write this down too. "Favourite colour?" he asked and looked at her with his light blue eyes. "Purlpe!" she answered and write it down. "Favourite number?" "9!" "Favourite food?" "Steak with potatoes!" Pauline answered and Romeo write down. "What is your zodiac?" "Leo!" "Favourite sport?" "Volleyball!" Pauline answered again and Romeo wrote Pauline's answers to his notebook. These question continued for the next few minutes. Both Dorothea and Jon were suprised from Romeo's question but and from Pauline's answers. When Romeo was done the pizza had arrived.

They all sut in the kitchen. Pauline was between Romeo and Jacod and on the other side were Jon and Dorothea. "So Pauline you said you're from Greece!" Dorothea said. She doen't do this often. But Pauline has something that Dorothea wants to learn all about her. "That's true! I lived there the first 15 years. And we moved 1 year ago here in New Jersey!" she answered and took a bite of her pizza. "This must be hard!" "Yeah, it was! I always wanted to come in USA but i've never thought that i'm going to live there!" she answered to Dorothea. "How long have you been a fan?" Jon asked. "Since 2009!" "Wow! Since you were 12 you were a fan?" Jon asked amazed. "Yeah!" "You're too young to be fan!" "To be honest my mum has a crush on Guns N Roses and one day we had a fight and went to the internet to see who is their biggest enemy! And i found you! Plus two weeks after i saw a show on TV and i heard It's My Life. I went again to the internet and learnt that day more than 4 songs!" Pauline axplained them her story. "You were always a Sambo girl?" he asked again. "I had my first Jovi chrush on Joker!" Jon almost spill out his cola "On Joker? And not me?" "I had and a crush on you later! I would be crazy if i hadn't!" Pauline answered. "Oh you make it up now!" Jon answered and took the last bite of his pizza.

About an hour ago when they had finished their dinner they sut to watch a movie to that 'small' TV screan in the living room. Romeo found his seat in Pauline's lap. When the movie was finished, Romeo had already fall asleep in Pauline's lap. While Jacob was already in his bed sleeping. Jon took Romeo to his room and then got back to the living room. 

Midnight has passed one hour ago. "Come on angel! It's time to go to bed!" Jon said and got up from the couch. "Yes, Captain!" she answered and did the same. "I'll to bring you Pauline something to wear from Stephanie's closet!" Dorothea said and left first leaving Jon and Pauline behind. "Follow my lead!" Jon said and they both left the living room. Jon turned right to the hallway full of pictures of the Bongiovi family. As they walked they passed by some pictures. Pauline stoped to the picture of Jesse as a baby. Jon took a few steps further and he realized Pauline wasn't follow him. He stoped and saw her looking at this frame. Her eyes were full of love and sorry. "Angel you coming?" "Yeah, i'm coming!" she answered and took a last look in the picture and left.

Jon opened the door and turned on the light to the guest room. "Here you go!" he said and walked in. Pauline holding a pair of Stephanie's pijamas walked in behind Jon. "Now get some rest before the little monsters wake up!" Jon teased. "Ok!" she answered. Jon was about to leave the room when Pauline's voise stoped him. "Jon, thank you for tonight!" "I thank you for everything!" he answered and gave her a good night smile and he closed the door.

Pauline kicked off her All-Star. She left the jeans on the a chair and the t-shirt above of it. She wear Stephanie's pijamas. She pulled off the covers of the bed and lying down. It was a strange feeling being in the Bongiovi house. But she was so tiried of thinking anything. She closed her eyes and felt asleep.

At some time in the middle of the night Pauline's room door opened. A pair of bare feet walked in holding his pillow. Romeo got closer to Pauline and saw her sleeping. He put his little hand on her shoulder and whispered. "Pauline?" Pauline opened her eyes and saw Romeo in her room. "What's up Romeo?" "I saw a very bad dream! I saw that Jesse was dead!" he answered. "Can i sleep with you?" he added. "Of course you can! Come here!" she said and pulled off the covers and let Romeo slip in. "I brought and my pillow!" he said with a smile as Pauline took her pillow to left side of the bed and let Romeo took his. Once the pillows were fixed Romeo had already fall asleep hugging her. She looked down to him kissed his head good night. Hugging Romeo she falt asleep too.

The sun was raised up in the blue sky in Jersey. Dorothea waked up first she dressed and went down to the kitchen to make some coffee. Several minutes later Jon joined her in the kitchen. It was about 10.00am when Jacob waked up too and joined his parents in the kicthen. Romeo was still didn't appear yet. That suprised Dorothea because Romeo used to wake up first of all and sometimes earlier than her. So, she said to Jon to wake him up because they must leave for the hospital. Jon ckecked out his room but he wasn't there. He notised that his pillow was mising. He closed the door thinking where his son would be. And a thunder hit his head, Pauline. He walked to the guest room and opened the door slowly. 

In the dark room he saw them sleeping. Romeo's head was on Pauline's chest and his land was hugging her waist. They were sleeping so inoccent and so peacfull. He doesn't want to wake them up but he must. He let the door open and walked in the room. He sut next to Romeo and his hand was making ups and downs to Romeo's back. "Hey, big man it's time to wake up!" he whispered but Romeo ignore him. He singed and went to wake up Pauline. "Hey, Angel! Wake up sweetie..." he whispered again. This time Pauline wake up. Opening her eyes she saw Jon sitting beside her. "W-What time is it?" she asked as she rubbed her eyes. Jon checking his watch he answered "10.20am!" "Oh shit! I slept too much again!" "Relax, Angel! I waked up 30 minutes ago!" "Yeah, but i'm the guest here!" "Calm down and tell me how Romeo got here?" "He came in the middle of the night and told me that he had a bad dream and asked me if he can sleep with me!" she expained to Jon. "Ok! Please wake him up! We'll be in the kitchen!" Jon said and left the room.

Pauline got up and dressed. Once she was wearing her clothes she waked up Romeo. She helped him dressed up too. When both were wearing their clothes joined Dorothea, Jon and Jacob in the kicthen. When breakfast was finished they left the Bongiovi house. Their destination was the hospital.

Chapter 9: Not Her Again

Two days later Pauline was finaly out of the hospital while Jesse's condition was the same. It's been taught for all of them.

Pauline after gone out of the hospital her life was back in the everyday routine. She was studing hard for the driving licence. Also she managed to keep her job in Starbucks. And she was happy about it. When she was done with all that she must take care of she was going to the hospital in the night. She was trying to relax Jon and Dorothea who from the first day they went very often to their house. Thank God Stephanie was there and was taking good care of her two little brothers.

A night like all the others Pauline drove from her house to the hospital to change duty with Dorothea and Jon. She took the elevator and went to the third floor. Opening the door Dorothea and Jon they werent's alone. They have company from their other three kids Stephanie, Jake and Romeo.

Pauline keep walking to their side and then Romeo realized she was there. He left his seat and runn to her side and hugged her. "Hey big man!" she said when they broke apart. "And thanks for the drawing! I love it!!" she said and Romeo blushed. Pauline with Romeo walked together where the others were. "Hey angel how was work?" Jon asked her as she sut down with Romeo in her hug. "Very good. How is Jesse?" was a question that she always asking now. "The same!" he answered and singed. "Pauline haven't met Stephanie don't you?" Dorothea asked her and Pauline nobbed no. "Hi, i'm Stephanie!" she said and threw out her hand and Pauline shaked it. "It's nice to meet you Stephanie! I'm Pauline!" "I've heard so much about you! Jesse was talking about you all day long!" Stephanie said and Pauline's cheeks turned to red. "Really?" "You can not imagine! You were good for him! And i want to thank you personally of that you did!" "If anyone else was in my position will had done the same!" Pauline answered as she tried to hide her blushing.

The two girls were chatting a little more but then they have to go beacuse Romeo felt asleep in Pauline's arms. It was late in the night when they left. Now was Pauline with Jesse.

She looked at him before she opened the door of his private room. The low sound of his heartbeat was the  only noise in the little room. Pauline sut in a chair beside to the bed. She was starring at him for several minutes. She couldn't believe he was lying there in fucking coma! And she can't do nothing to help him.

It was the first time she saw him. She was feeling like someone was punching her in her stomach. She was feeling sick. She was feeling like she has fever. To her mind came the scene of her with Zack kissing each other. And with the corner of her eye she saw him drove away. She was day dreaming. She shoke her head when she came back to the present. Now the little pieces of the puzle found their right place.

Jesse had saw her with Zack. He thought that Pauline moved on and she doesn't want him anymore to her life. He didn't want to sit there and watch them. He knew from the time on Christmass who was hugging her and Jesse was jelous. He drove away from him, from her. He wanted to stay alone. He went to a bar. He was trying to a find an answer to Jack Daniels. he thought that this might help him forget. He thought that this might took away the pain. But it didn't. He had already shut down his phone and lost all the calls from his mother and father.

When he couldn't take anymore he left the bar. He was drunk. At the first he knew where he was and where he wanted to go. But then he lost everything. But mostly he lost the control of his car.

Pauline moved closer to him. She covered his right hand with hers. It was still feating in. Like God create them to be each other half. Her eyes filled with tears once again. He slipped her little fingers into his. She turned her head to her shoulder and felt asleep holding him close. Like he did when she needed.

The next morning Jon left his house early in the morning. He arrived at the hospital about 7.00am. He went to the third floor but he didn't found Pauline sitting there. For a moment he thought she was gone. Walking closer to the room it was obvious where Pauline was. Jon froze at this sight. It was defently the best love scene he'd ever seen from teenagers.

He slowly opened the door and entered the room. He notised where Pauline's hand was and smiled. Looking over to his son he notised his lips were about to smile. But he was still in coma. A few minutes later Jon was sipping coffee sitting on the chair on the other side of the bed.

Pauline wake up. She was feeling a warmth to her hand. She looked down it was Jesse's and rolled her eyes. She slowly let free Jesse's hand. While the other went straight to her back. "Oh shit my back!" she cried out. Still didn't notised Jon. She sut more comfortable to the chair and looked at the other side of bed where Jon was sitting. "Oh my God Jon! You sceared me!" "I'm sorry! I didn't want to! You slept good?" "Yeah! This chair is really comfy!" "What about your back?" "Oh my back! When i was younger i had an accident with my back. And when i'm turning my back for a long time to my right side it hurts! That's all!" "Good then!" "I have to go to the bathroom!" "Ok!" Jon answered and sipped his coffee. Pauline got up and left Jesse's room.

A few minutes later when Pauline was returning from the bathroom found Jon with Richie and Ava. "Morning angel! You slept good?" Richie asked. "Pretty good thanks!" Pauline answered with a smile. "Here we brought you some coffee!" Ava said and gave her the coffee. "Oh thank you!" she answered and took the coffee. She drunk a sip and let the cafein go all around her body. She singed of pleasure. "Nice coffee huh?" Ava asked as she sut down next to Pauline. "Awesome coffee!" Pauline answered and drunk one more sip.

As the hours were passing them by Jon asked a doctor how Jesse was doing. But the news weren't that good. He was still in coma and the next 48 hours are very critical. The doctor was happy that they found a blood donate this fast and that worked as a bonus for Jesse. The operation was good. But there is a possibility of memory loss when he'll wake up from the coma.

While Jon was was talking with the doctor Pauline was sitting in a chair the coffee cup was in her hands. She looked like shit. Ava was trying to make her feel better but that didn't worked. And now is the new battle Pauline must win fpr herself first and for Jesse.

The door opened. The sound of high heels was notised. Ava turned her head and saw Jennifer coming. Richie on the other side of the hallway notised her too. Jon had fonished his talk with the doctor and joined them. Pauline drunk a sip and saw her coming to their side. Ava who was next to her could feel her friend was ready to kill her. "Stay calm!" she whispered to Pauline's ear.

Jennifer was knowing exatly was she was doing. She knew Pauline's weak piont and she'll atacked it. She took the sad and sceared look as she got closer to them. "Mr Bon Jovi i came here as fast as i learn about Jesse's accident!" she said to Jon who doesn't know what was Jennifer's plan. "How is he?" she asked without looking to anyone else exept Jon. "Not too good! He's in coma!" he just answered to her. He wasn't in a mood of explained her. "Oh my God!" her hands on her mouth. She was a good actress. Pretanding she doesn't know how Jesse was.

Now it was time to attack to Pauline. It was her show time. "Mr Bon Jovi i want you to know that no matter will hapend i still love Jesse! I know that we broke up but i loved him with all my heart! And on part of it always will!" Jennifer said like was starring on the theater. Jon was impressed of Jennifer's words. But Pauline wasn't! She must defent herself and Jesse. She got up. Ava was trying to stop her but Pauline was sure of what was doing. "You said you loved him? You know what? That's all BULLSHIT! How much did you loved him when you was cheating on him with every male was in your way? How can you came here six days after the accident pretending that you just hear it?" she said as she was looking at her like a hungry lion ready to devour the unsuspecting victim. Jennifer was in shocked. She didn't exepting that. "W-What are you talking about?" she asked and strart playing inocent. "You know exactly of what i'm talking about!" "You what little bitch? Before you came we're perfect without you! You came here and look what happend! Jesse is lying in a fucking hospital bed having a fucking coma! And all that happend because of YOU! I couldn't have killed you when we were alone in the park if i only knew what is going to happend to Jesse! I can kill you right now in front of your best friend but i won't! You know what? Because if anything bad happend to Jesse YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE TO BLAME! YOU broke his heart and sent him to this fucking hospital!" Jennifer attacked. It was like a battle between a lion and a tiger. And no one knows who is going to win this. 

Jon, Richie and Ava were listen to the girls fighting and lost their words. Pauline must show to Jennifer who she is. "You know what Jennifer? I'm glad that you're alive and you don't have anything else to spend your time and all you do is to trying broke up Jesse from me! You're so fucking jelous that he left you for me, don't you? You never get over it and you never will! I could have killed you that day we had a fight but i didn't! Do you what to know why? Because i want to crawling in the ground when Jesse will be alright begging us to kill you! But we won't! We let you live with qualms! I'll be your nightmare where ever you're going......." Pauline said with slow voise and make Jennifer understand every word she said. From her eyes blood was dripping. Jennifer didn't know what to say. "Get the fuck away of my sight! You make me sick! And something last is Bongiovi! Bon Jovi is a fucking band!" she said with her strong but slow voise. 

Jennifer was afraid what will happend next if she stays. She decited to leave but before that she said "I swear to God Pauline Timson that one day i'll send you to the grave! And if this make me not to see the light of the sun again! I WILL DESTROY YOU!" she yelled and left with raised temper.

Pauline on the other hand when Jennifer left everyone lost their words. "Jennifer is right! I'm the only to blame of what happend to Jesse! When he wakes up from the coma i'll come to make sure he's alright and then i'll leave him and you leave your livies!" she said looking on the floor. Jon sut on the chair next to her. With his hand he lifted her head and looked in her eyes which had filled with tears. "You're not going anywhere! I won't let you! When he'll wake up you'll be back together and everything will be like before!" "No, Jon! Nothing would be the same! Don't you get it? I hurt the people i love! First was Jesse! And because i don't want anything bad happend to you all i'll leave!" Pauline said before no one can stop her was running crying to the door. "Pauline!" Ava said and start running behind her. But Richie grabbed her hand and said "Let her alone Ava!" Ava listen to her father and sut on the chair wishing that this never happend.

Chapter 8: A Parade Of Rock Stars

Pauline opened slowly her eyes the sun light was intense and she closed them again. She opened them knowing what to exept. She looked down to herself. She was lying in a hospital bed wearing h er pijamas. Her mother was starring out of the window and Pauline made a sound and heard her. "Oh Pauline you wake up!" she said happy and hugged her tight. When they broke apart Pauline said. "W-What happend? Why i'm here? Where is Jesse? Is he alright?" four questions with one breath. She always asking too much questions. "Well, Jesse's condition didn't change. he had hurt his head really bad and now i think he's in the operating!" Katerina explained to her daughter. "What time is it?" "10am!" "I only slept 4 hours?" she asked not waiting an answered and signed. "You slept more that 24 hours!" "What? What happend to me?" "Do you remember when we're in a room with a nurse and she was taking your blood?" "Yeah!" "When the nurse put the needle of the syringe you faint!" "I-I faint?" "Yeah, but Richie was there caught you before you hit the ground!" Pauline singed again. "Wait there young lady! As you were sleeping a doctor came and said that you're overworked and you must rest for some days. Plus you've lost so much weight in just a short period of time and you're feeling weak and that's why you faint!" "At least i they took my blood?" "Yes, they'll test it first and then they'll put it to Jesse's body!" Katerina answered and Pauline signed heivy. "Where is dad?" "He went home to bring Zeta here!" "What about the others?" "Jon with Dorothea are waiting for the operation to finished. Richie with Ava went home for the night and they'll be back soon!" Katerina explained to her.

Mother and daughter were talking when the door opened and Zeta came running throught the door and hugged her sister. "Oh sis.... you sceared the hell out of me!" Zeta said and was hugged her more and more tight. "Let me breath!" Pauline said with almost caught breath. "Oups! Sorry!" Zeta answered and took a step back. "So, how are you feeling?" she asked. "I've been and better! but i'll get throught it!" "I'm sure you will!" Zeta answered and smiled.

A few minutes later all the Timson family were talking when a knock at the door stopped them. "Yeah?" Kostas said loud and the door opened. Dorothea with Jon walked into the room and then a smile appeared at their faces. Pauline turned and so them smiling and thought that Jesse has be aweked. "Jesse woke up?" Pauline asked. "No, the operation finished about an hour ago and we're talking with the doctor!" Dorothea answered to Pauline's question. "So how are you feeling angel?" Jon asked and sut on a chair. "Fine, i guess! And wait what did you just called me?" Pauline said as she re-thought what Jon said. "Angel! You know the preety girls with big white wings!" Jon explained. "I'm sorry but i don't have any wings!" Pauline said looking at him. "Who said angels have wings?" Jon asked. Pauline thought of a picture that a fan had made with Jon holding a single red rose and had wings on his back. There was a headline saying Who said angels have wings?. She laughed at that memory but for her owned good no one was knowing what she was thinking especialy Jon.

The next seconds passed into silence when Dorothea moved and sut with Pauline on the bed. "Pauline i want you to forgive me for the other day. I was so sad and sceared and i totally forgot that you were here to save our son!" Dorothea said to Pauline. Brown eyes met brown and left everyone in the room shocked. "Mrs Bongiovi i understand! And you don't have to ask for forgiveness... i've already forgive you! It was a hard moment and you didn't know what to say! I was in a hard moment for me too! I didn't know what to exept. I thought that you'll never wanted to see me again!" Pauline explained. "Of course and we want to see you again Pauline right Jon?" Dorothea asked her husband who was sitting in a chair behind them. "She's right angel! Oh and i almost forgot it!" Jon said and start searching to his pockets for a drawing. "Romeo draw this for you!" he said and gave to Pauline Romeo's drawing. It was Pauline with him playing volleyball on the beach. Pauline was wearing a bed t-shirt and Romeo was wearing a blue t-shirt. "Oh my little Pablo!!" Pauline said with her sweet voise. "His name is Romeo!" Zeta corrected her. "I mean Pablo Picasso! You stupid girl and i know his name is Romeo!" Pauline explained to her sister. "He wanted to come and see you but i told him not today! And before i left he gave me this!" Jon explained to Pauline. "Ohh! That's so sweet....." Pauline said and placed Romeo's drawing to the nightstand next to her.

At some time in the afternoon Pauline was sleeping because the doctor said she must rest for at least 4-5 days. Pauline was sleeping when Ava with Richie walked in the room. Her parents and sister were home after of one hour fighting with Jon and Dorothea. Katerina and Kostas were in the hospital for more than 24 hours and they must go home so they went.

Ava looked at her friend who was sleeping still having a sad smile in her face. Richie closed the door behind him and walked into the room. They both sut on the chairs and they were waiting for Pauline to wake up. A few minutes later Pauline could smell a perfume on the air. She recognize the perfume in no time, it was Richie's. She opened her eyes and saw him sitting on the chair at the edge of the bed. "Hey! Good afternoon angel!" he said with a smile. "Good afternoon to you too!" Pauline answered and turned to the other side of the bed and saw Ava who was also smiling. Pauline sit on the bed. "What ya doing?" Richie asked. "Good! Thanks! How is Jesse?"she asked again. "Well, four ago had an operation that went very good but when it was over..." Ava started. She knew what was comingnext wasn't good but Pauline has to know. "Jesse is in coma!" Ava added. "W-What? You're kidding right? Tell me its a lie!" Pauline said trying to forget what Ava just said. "I'm sorry to tell that but it's the truth!" Ava added.

Pauline sut there for a second and then she threw the covers away and left the bed. But Richie was faster and caught her before she left the room. "Pauline what are you doing? Do you want to faint again?" Richie said and held Pauline back to her bed. Pauline knew that now she couldn't escape from Richie. Pauline was back to her bed and Richie was fixing the bed. "I just want to see him!" she simply said while a single tear made the way to her pale face. Ava and Richie both singed. "Please don't cry angel...." Richie start saying what Zeta came in.

"Hey!" she said went to her sister's bed. "Hey you moth! Where is mum and dad?" Pauline asked and tried to hold back her tears in front od her sister. "They are in Red Bank! I came here alone!" "You did what? Zeta you know that was dangerous?" "Yeah but i wanted to see you!" Zeta answered. Pauline couldn't yell at her for the first time in her life.

The door opened quickly and David walked in. "Oh angel! You sceraed us so much!" David said and hugged Pauline who was sitting there speechless. "Are you feeling better now?" he asked when they broke apart. "I'm fine thanks!" she answered him. "You must be Zeta huh?" David asked and pointed Zeta. "Yes, that's me!" "I've heard so much about you! And i also heard that you love jokes! Is that right?" "Yeah, i love jokes!" "Good! Here is my phone number! If you need me something i'll be there!" David said and gave Zeta his phone number and Zeta took it. "Hold on! You gave her your number?" Pauline asked. "Yeah!" "Oh Pauline i'm sorry! I have David's number and you don't!!" Zeta teased her sister. "I CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS!" Pauline yelled while Tico walked in. "Hello angel! How are you?" Tico asked. "Pissed!" Pauline answered and looked at her sister with a killing look. "Pissed? Why?" "Beacuse David gave to my sister his number! That's why...." "Come on angel! You know that Dave is the Joker of this band!" Tico said looking at David. "Hmm! I like Joker! David from now on i'll call you Joker!" Pauline said as she thought of it. "Ok then i'm Joker and you're angel! Now you have and your own nickname! Welcome to the Jovi family!" David said and all welcomed her to the Jovi family.

A few minutes later Jon came in. Zeta singed and said annoying "One more rock star!" but Pauline heard her. "Who's next?" she asked later. "Next for what?" Richie asked and trying to think what Pauline meant and all did. "Rock star! First, you came and then David and next Tico and now Jon! And i'm asking who rock star is next!" Pauline riplied and all laughed. "Look, if next is Steven Tyler, Mick Jagger and Bruce Springsteen let me know!" "Mmm if you say so Bruce told me he'll might come!" Jon teased but Pauline took it suriously. "What? I'm not ready to meet him NOW! And i'm not ready to meet him in general!" "Relax angel! I'm just kidding!" "Now could you please stop the 'angel' thing?" "No, we can't!" David said and contuinue his talking with Zeta.

The next day Pauline woke up and saw Richie sitting in the chair. This was ridicuilus she thought at the first point but then it was kind of sweet and weird to woke up in a hospital room and found Richie Sambora looking at you sleeping.

It was a day life the previous. Jon passed and say hi to Pauline so did Dorothea and Tico. Her parents never leave Pauline's side. Two more days in and then she'll go home. And then they'll have to worry pnly about Jesse who has been in coma for two days. The atmosphere was heivy. No one was talking about this anymore. It was the worst period of their lives so far.

Pauline was talking with Ava and Richie about volleyball or better Pauline was trying to explain them how to play it. Ava got it but Richie need more time to understand it. Pauline phone start running on the night stand and caught the conversation. Pauline looked at the ID is was her Jovi sister Maria.

"Hey you girl!" Pauline said with her happy voise but Maria wasn't in the mood to be happy. "Hey!" she just answered. Pauline might be a millions miles away she could feel something was wrong. "Are you alright?" "When when the last time you were on facebook?" "Four days ago! I was studying for the licence and i was working! Something bad happend?" Pauline asked and start to think what might had happend and she doesn't know about it. "Who is your favourite Bongiovi kid?" "Jesse! It's your favourite too!" "He had a car accident three days ago and now he's in the hospital!" Maria said but she doesn't know where Pauline was and mostly why she was there. "Oh, i knew that from the day it happend!" "Oh yeah i forgot! You're Ava's friend!" "And Jesse's girlfriend!" Pauline drop her bomb to Maria who was not exepting this kind of answer. "You're what?" "Well not exactly girlfriend! I'm his ex!" Pauline said but Ava couldn't just let it go. "No, Pauline you WERE, you ARE and you WILL always be his girlfirend!" Ava said and Maria could hear her loud and clear from the other line of the phone. "I don't know what Ava is talking about but if she say so she must be right!" Maria answered to Pauline. "Let me ask you something Maria! If you met a boy in a party and then you're with him for nine months. And after that his ex giving you a picture with your boyfriend with his dad in NY. And you understand that his dad is Jon Bon Jovi and he doesn't told this what would you do?" "E! I don't know but hold on! You met Jesse in a party you're in relanship with him for nine months?" While she was talking Ava and Richie had gone. A nurse came in and said them to leave. So, Pauline make herself more comfortable to the hospital bed and felt asleep.

The next morking Pauline woke up from some whispers. She opened her eyes and saw Alex, Zack and Ava talking. "Hey, girl!" Alex said first when he saw her awake. "Hi Alex! What you guys doing here?" she asked. "Ava told us and we came to see you! And we have some dirty little secrtes you have to know!" Zack said and sut back to the chair. "Dirty little secrets?" Pauline aksed suprised. "Is not only a song you know!" Alex added and both Ava and Pauline raised an eyebrow but her ingrore it. "Anyway! We're here to visit you and tell you something very important!" Zack started and all came closer to Pauline's bed. "And what is this about?" she asked and looked one to Alex and one to Zack. "Jennifer!" Zack answered. "Don't tell me that she has to do with Jesse's accident?" Pauline said as she could feel her temper raising. "No! Just calm down and let us tell you what we found!" Zack answered and pointed Alex who said. "As you already know Ava and i we're together from her party!" Alex start explaining and Pauline nobbed. "Good! Before i come to her party my sister and i were at the same party Jennifer was!" "And what does this has to do with Jennifer!" "If you let me finished you'll realized that this has to do with Jennifer only!" "Go on!" "At this party i was in the kitchen searching for a drink. Jennifer was there but i didn't notised her and i when i did she start kissing me. Then she asked me to fuck her right there in the kitchen! Then i left pissed off and left my sister behind! But my little story doesn't end right here. My sister caught her boyfriend cheatting on her with Jennifer. And after Zack's little research we found that she cheated Jesse with the captain of the football, soccer, basketball and volleyball team and my sister's boyfriend and many many others!" Alex finaly finished.

Pauline was listen to him and she couldn't believe what she just heard. "I'm gonna kill that little bitch when i get out of this place!" "And she was using Jesse to cover up her. There are more that once who Jesse was about to go in jail because she was covering up Jennifer!" Zack added. "That was it! I'm going to kill her!" Pauline raised her voise and her temper. "Pauline relax!" Ava rtied to calm her down. "Relax? I can't relax! I'll relax when i killed that little bitch who did that to Jesse! I swear to God i'll not let her do that to anyone else!" Pauline more pissed than before. "That's why she did that to you and Jesse! She wanted someone who loved her to cover her up!" Alex added again new clues to the case named Jennifer. Pauline couldn't believe it. She must pay her with the same currency. That was the first time she'll do when she go out of the hospital.
